So, one reviewer clearly had a bad time with this, and apparently the seller took heed, because this arrived well packaged with LOTS of paper surrounding the individual pieces. Nothing was damaged, and everything was in pristine condition. It's always nice when manufacturers / sellers address problems with an item, and clearly that was done here. The pieces are each quite beautiful and very well made. This is a fantastic set and they seem to be shipping it correctly now. 5 stars.

I do like the set the soapstone itself is beautiful and well made, but parts arrived broken because they were not wrapped very well at all. All thrown loose into a box that was three times bigger than it should have been. All the items rolled around and hit into each other. They had a thin wrap of bubble wrap that was useless. I usually never post a bad review, but I cannot believe Amazon and or this company would have allowed this package to be packed in the manner it was. I have been more and more disappointed with Amazon's shipping/packing practices over the past year. As I stated, the set itself is a beautiful product, but shame on the way it was shipped.
