DUCKBUTTER Duck Butter Beard Oil - Natural & Organic 4-Pack Boxed Gift Set - Best Deal!

Initially I wasn't impressed by the scents of the 4 oils by smelling them directly from the bottles as they all smelt very similar but once worked through beard the scents are noticeably different from each other. All 4 do share a similar light fresh base scent vs other oils I've used in past which have been more heavily wood or spiced based. The oils also don't leave beard greasy and absorb well into skin so I can just massage the leftover oil onto neck and cheeks where I've shaved rather than using a separate moisturiser.

I'm really impressed with these oils.I have quite a long beard, been rather dry lately with the products I normally use, I decided to buy duckbutter because the box set was quite good quantity for the price, the scents are pleasant, works wonders on my beard, and the excess I have left on my hands does amazing things for my long curly hair.I surf a lot and these oils really do protect my facial and head hair before going out into the salty water.

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday. He has super sensitive skin but this beard oil doesn't seem to irritate, must be all the natural goodies in it. He's been using Beard Commander and it smells delicious on him, he's not tried the other scents yet but they all smell amazing in the bottle. It leaves his beard feeling soft and shiny with none of the 'beard dandruff' that he's had before. The only issue that has come up is that the bottle cap has broken in his washbag, we've managed to salvage most of the oil but we'll have to decant it into something else as he is on the road a lot and doesn't leave it at home.

This stuff smells wonderful and there are enough that you can vary your aroma on almost a daily basis (if you only left the house 4 days a week then it would be a daily basis, you could hide on the other 3 days and not let anyone near you).Compared to other beard oils (I have only tried one, which was the one with a picture of a bear on it) I find that the smell lasts a lot longer, well into the day.I dont really know what beard oil is meant to do so I can only really comment on the smell, oh and it feels nice when I run it through my very short beard. I was hoping it would make my beard grow faster like some magic beans or something but I haven't noticed any accelerated growth yet (but hey give it a chance as its early days yet).I did find that using a metal comb helped spread the oil better through my tiny beard.I have quite sensitive skin and this hasn't caused any unwanted issues in that department.I am worried about the name of the company as to get butter you need milk and I didnt know you could milk ducks, I have tried googling this but it started getting weird so I stopped.

The oils do a good job of conditioning my beard and are not to greasy, so that's a big positive.However, the scents are not great and tend to evaporate pretty quickly. I'd prefer a scent that lasted all day.Cool mint: does what it says on the tin, smells like a candy cane for about an hour then the smell fades to nothing (perhaps I'll save this one for Christmas time).Forrest Ranger: my favourite of the set, a pleasant woody scent as you'd expect from the name. Unfortunately the scent doesn't have much staying power.Beard commander: smells like cloves.Metro spice: somewhere between cool mint and beard commander, it's a pleasant combination and is what I expected the cool mint to smell like as opposed to the strong candy cane smell it has.Overall I think this is pretty good value for money and it's a good place to start if you're not sure what sort of scents you like as there is a decent range presented. Not to mention that it does a good job of conditioning the ol' chin strap.However, the lack of staying power in the scents is a big negative for me, I like my beard oil to act as a sort of cologne, making me smell like I've been working in a woodshop or hauling lumber.

The oils come in a nice box which I was able to wrap as a gift.My husband has been using beard oil for a while and likes how it softens the bristles, he claims not to notice the scent after a while and thinks it has worn off, but that’s not the case it actually continues to smell lovely for a long time after.A bit like a nice perfume, the wearer doesn’t notice it after a while but those coming into contact (quite close since it is his beard) can smell the oil.A lovely gift.

Not impressed.Very fiddly bottles to extract oil from, lots of shaking.They all basically smell the same and not that pleasant, overly musky and no highlights to to the scents, very generic.The scent does not last, fades after maybe 20 minutes.Did not make my beard feel soft or conditioned. Compared to other oils I’ve used, these are really low quality. Feel quite watery and cheap.Would not recommend to anyone.

Excellent value for the price as really good quality products. They smell really nice without being overpowering, very fresh and leave beard soft and healthy looking. Perfect buy to try more than one scent at a time and also for gift for special man in life.

Having never tried beard oil before I was skeptical if it was worth buying prior to making the purchase but after 2 weeks of use I can happily report that I am more than satisfied! Not only is it great value having the variety of smells is a huge bonus! It's certainly improved the softness of my beard as a whole and has made shaping it far more manageable.Worth a buy and a perfect cheap gift set with Christmas around the corner!

I love this beard oil, does the job, not irritating, and just enough scent. I find many of the oils to be too strong for me. The only draw back regarding gifting is that the bottles don't seem to seal great. My original package arrived and a few of the bottles had leaked about 1/8 of the bottle out into the box, however amazon and duck butter were great and a replacement arrived the next day. This box had leaked a little but not enough to worry about it. Buy it; just do it.

This beard oil is quite thick, but still has a nice feel to it. Not to oily and not to dry. This allows it to provide a bit more hold than typical beard oils, to the point where I almost feel I don't need to use balm on top of it. However, the scents are really subtle. I got my wife to have a smell of my beard right after putting it on and she could bearly smell anything. The fragrances are really interesting, so it would be nice to actually have those scents be available after use. Overall quite a nice set of oils for a great price.

Let me start by saying that this is my first beard oil so I don't have comparison, but this is my opinion on this product in particular. Right off the bat, the price is incredible. Basically getting 4 x 1oz bottles for the price of a single 1oz bottle of some of the other highly rated oils. The smells are good. A bit of difference between each one. Definitely makes my beard a little less "scraggly". Softens it and my 3 yo daughter says I smell pretty. I like the presentation of the bottles and you can keep them in the box if you want. It isn't the nicest box but it's not bad. No reactions on my skin, so far. Overall great product, and a steal at this price.

Bought this bad boy after trying out the larger gift box set that includes a beard comb and brush as a gift for my brother. His beard isn't as thick as mine and was a bit apprehensive at first. After a week of sampling he now gets comments at work about how shiny and clean his facial hear looks. And if they get a bit close... how nice it smells!!If you've got some whiskers then I would definitely recommend you give the sample pack a go.
