I have a similar but old press in my other home and I've been looking for something as good for my main kitchen for years. I've tried a few but they didn't meet the spec.The only problem so far is that it squeezes sideways and that means you need to a little careful not to send the juice out of the side - my old one squeezes downwards, so this doesn't happenAll was fine until one of the sockets holding the hinge pin snapped. As it was nearly new in terms of the amount of use, I contacted the seller about a replacement. The response was that I could buy a new one! Dream on!Very easy to use and clean, but not in the dishwasher as it's all aluminium

Not dishwasher proof the metal coating came off with the dishwasher heat had to be put in the bin wate of money
