Makes huge difference for dogs who tend towards soft poop
Wasnât expecting actual mud (expected dry powder, donât know why! Think I imagined it would be a clay powder like kaolin) but this stuff is amazing, itâs sorted my Maliâs bloaty/gassy tendency towards such a fast digestion that he was constantly hungry. Itâs the difference between soft poo thatâs hard to pick up cleanly and firm, dark, solid poo just twice a day and MUCH LESS WIND! He already has probiotics and a balanced raw diet with natural additives to cover all nutritional needs, and I didnât feel comfortable just adding what I felt would be an excessive amount of bone simply to firm his poo, as itâs not (in my or the vetâs opinion) caused by nutritional deficiency, itâs caused by him being a dog with a fast metabolism and a sensitive digestion. The vet had suggested a hypoallergenic dry diet but I wasnât comfortable with that and he wouldnât eat it anyway, it took all the enjoyment out of eating for him, and I felt it was mass produced unnatural âfoodâ. He has no nutritional allergies, he just âticks over quicklyâ and needs 4 smaller meals instead of 1 or 2 to prevent bile puking in the early morning. This stuff has sorted that. No more room-clearing farts, he has been on a more healthy frequency of meals week without issue, his poo is now dark, properly firm and easy to pick up, and he is finally digestively comfy!Iâve been giving it to all 5 of my dogs despite the others not âneedingâ it, and itâs just made their poo darker, thatâs all, and given that two of my dogs voluntarily eat dark soil occasionally despite eating a combined diet of raw in the evenings and quality kibble at night (we do Greenwoods for a month, then Lukullus for a month, then Markus MĂźhle for a month so they shouldnât be nutrient deficient but they clearly feel they benefit by eating dark soil sometimes!) - they all inadvertently consume small quantities of soil due to spending time digging out rat tunnels and they get soil in their mouths which inevitably ends up being swallowed. This mud only serves to make them more keen to eat their dinner - they seem to know itâs good for them as they are relishing their raw meals even more than usual and licking the plates ultra clean when this is mixed in!

My dog is not eating it
I tried it today and mixed it with my dogâs food. He stopped eating it once he smelled it. So I have to make another one without the moor in it.

Should we not stop using peat?
I am thinking that the moors are a very rich and vulnerable ecosystem that we should avoid consumingâŚ

Best thing I could have got my dog
I love anifort products. My Indian dog has always eaten mud in the garden after eating his food. He is a bit guffy too. I had him on long term medicine some years back and he piled the wait on. I hope this will clear any toxins from his body. He eats it happily and is not eating mud in the garden. Result
