Great value - good for beginners!
I bought this rower 3 months ago. It arrived promptly and was easy to assemble and seems well made to me. I have been using it 3 or 4 times a week for around 30 mins. a time - still working well. I had not done any real exercise for a long time and needed to lose weight. The rower has helped me lose around 12 kilos so far (in combination with healthy eating), so I am very pleased with it! I think this rower is excellent for 'beginners' like me, although I am sure it would not stretch more experienced / fitter people! I would certainly recommend it to people who are taking up exercise again and for under £100 it is great value for money.

Solution for everyday people who need to work out!
For the everyday use, this is a perfect machine. Setting up is easy. All you need is comes with the package. This is how you can assemble the machine easily. 1. Once you open the package, take out instruction, and check all the parts are intact and nothing is missing. Bring the parts to where you want to set up permanently. It is foldable, but always make sense to keep it ready to use anytime. Assembly instruction is easy to understand. Especially be mindful for bolt and nuts are securely tight at the chair/saddle, feet rest(sandal parts), and the strength changing parts.2. Before you connect the main machine and the chair, make sure the cable within the frame is connected. (the cable act as the measure to calculate the calories, the distance you rowed, etc. 3. Open the LCD enclosure by slightly lifting from the lower part. 3. Insert AA x 2 batteries. And put the LCD back to the machine. The ready to go. Be careful not to bang the chair for the stopper near the machine as this can break the stopper(for the chair).4. How one excercise is depend on one's health, and the physician's advice in case you have some health problem. If you were healthy adult, no matter how old you are, it is generally safe to do minimum 20 minutes of non-straining rowing as 20 minutes is necessary to start the body fat to burn. 5. Before starting excercise, it is sensible to drink water, NOT after you become thirsty, as drinking water before excerceise prevents blood getting deprived of water content and allow smooth circulation. Better not eat at least 1 hour before the excercise..6. Success is doing incrementally everyday, in the daytime, if possible in the morning as this make sure your metabolism is set in motion all day. The martial arts masters always train early in the morning, not only for the quality of fresh air, but for the reason to set the body metabolism ready for the day. 7. After excercise, always drink water. When drinking, not gobbling but gently sipping frequently is more effective to keep blood circulation smooth. Do not overdone but always congratulate yourself for even if you do 5 minutes a day. This machine is for general public, not for professional or combat arts practitioners, so doing hard work not only break the machine, not needed. This is really an affordable solution for not paying gym or fitness clubs where many people with germs and other hidden diseases congregate for wasting time and money and regretting for expensive contract.

Design puts pressure on knees
This rowing machine is well made, solid and very easy to put together. Unfortunately I have had to return it because of the design. I have a knee injury and currently the only cardio I can do without pain is the rowing machine (Concept 2) so this purchase was so I could use a rowing machine at home when I can't get to the gym.With the design of this rowing machine the bar that the seat slides on is inclined and the foot rests are almost touching the floor. This means that instead of pushing/sliding back straight you are pushing your weight back and upwards. This gives a completely different feel and workout to a standard gym rowing machine and puts pressure on your knees.The handle is connected by an elastic rope which again give a completely different feel to air rowers and constantly pulls putting strain on the shoulders.It is a great shame that this design does not suit my knee injury because otherwise I would have given it 4-5 stars and it is well made and very solid.

This is a really good machine for the money
This is a really good machine for the money. It was not that difficult to assemble BUT the wire connecting the strokes/minute, time etc. had been severed. I could not face sending it back having got it virtually assembled so with some difficulty I managed to join the two ends. I like the machine. The 'pull' is not really strong but you can get more out of it by upping your rate and length of time on the machine. I think it might be a little difficult to store even folded up as it is quite heavy but I use it every day and would recommend it to anyone wanting to up their fitness. Probably NOT strong enough for someone who is already very fit and strong. The screen is good as you can see how you are doing.

Not ideal
Read some great reviews on this product but it really didn't do much for me. I'm overweight and hadn't worked out in a couple of years but the resistance still wasn't adequate to me. It also makes a lot of noise while in use and I live in a flat so that's not ideal. Also when drawing back the resistance chord doesn't stretch that far. Setup was very easy, that's probably the only positive comment I can make about this item.Hardly used it, put it in the shed, joined the gym and using the concept 2 now. World's apart I would say.

Because of this I dont think I'd recommend this product
After putting the rowing machine together, I have found out that the onboard 'computer' doe not work. This is extremely dissapointing, especially as it cost £90, which to me is a lot of money. It's far too much hassle to send it back and wait for another one, especially as I stupidly binned the box it came in. Because of this I dont think I'd recommend this product.

Good Rowing Machine ...
First impressions of this machine are very good , easy to build ( about 30 mins ) , and very solidly built . Good clear instruction book , in four languages .Ideal for my height , just over six foot , and takes up very little room , just fold up , and stand in a corner.Would highly recommend !!

Best value for money
It works well, I’m 6 ft 3 and not too tall to use it. Display works well and it’s tough work!! Really pleased with this.

Perfetto per tonificare
Per me che ho la necessità di rafforzare e tonificare la muscolatura di braccia e spalle è perfetto, si usa facilmente, si regola la resistenza, si richiude e occupa poco spazio. Se invece si ha bisogno di un macchinario per un allenamento intensivo non va bene, serve qualcosa di più solido.

Cumple su cometido, está bien, recomendable
Es fácil de montar, viene con unas instrucciones, y con un poco de sentido común lo montas. Tienes que apretarlo todo bien, te recomiendo herramientas propias. Al uso hace su cometido, no hay que forzar la goma, a fuerza de repetición se consigue masa muscular, y importante hacer el recorrido completo del asiento, pues si no, no te cuenta flexión. También hay que tener limpio la zona del mástil del asiento. Limpiar cada vez que se usa. Está bien de precio. No es mala compra no ocupa mucho.

Perfekt für meine Zwecke
Das Rudergerät ist leicht und relativ schnell aufgebaut. Habe das Klappgerät gewählt, da dieses auch auf engerem Raum gut zu verstauen ist. Auf- und zuklappen geht fix. Das Gerät macht einen stabilen Eindruck, nach 4 Wochen täglicher Nutzung keinerlei störenden Geräusche. Für meine Körpergröße von 1,64 cm auch empfehlenswert, Pedale sind gut zu erreichen. Ich habe das Gerät angeschafft um meine Rücken- und Bauchmuskulatur zu stärken, in Verbindung mit Prof. Grönemeyers Rückentraining. Ich "rudere" jedn 2 Tag nun ca 25 Min + 10 Min Rückentraining vorab, die anderen Tage Rückentraining plus 20 Min Bauchmuskeltraining (ebenfalls Grönemeier). Nach gut 3 Wochen kann ich feststellen das meine Rückenbeschwerden fast gar nicht mehr vorhanden sind (Bürojob plus Bandscheibenvorfall), sich die Muskeln straffen und ich gut 2 kg abgenommen habe - allerdings habe ich meine Ernährung in keiner Weise umgestellt.Wer dieses auch nch macht, wird sicherlich hier auch noch ganz andere Erfolge erzielen. Fazit für alle wie mich - die keine Lust haben ins Studio zu gehen und trotzdem den Rücken stärken wollen - die optimale Lösung. Allerdings muss man natürlich am Ball bleiben, auch wenn es schwerfällt. Habe mr so ein Gerät auf Anraten meines Orthopäden angeschafft und alles richtig gemacht.

questo vogatore è davvero buono, potrete modificare voi l'intensità della molla tramite quella leva davanti a voi, posizionandola più verso di voi è più resistente, al contrario meno. c'è uno schermo lcd che vi indica il tempo effettivo di esercizio, le calorie bruciate, le ripetizioni eseguite e la media al minuti di ripetizioni
