I bought this for my nephew and it’s safe to say I am auntie of the year! He loves it so much! There is so many different settings that he loves to explore and the fact that he can see it on his phone is a winner!

The media could not be loaded.  feel good purchase. beginner drone impressive v goodthis my upgrade into drone flying after trying my first ever drone which was the x300 mini drone, the review of which you will see in my profile.I fly rc drones, the excuse is to teach my young sons about the physics of flying but actually its quite good fun just to fly in solitude. I decided to try out the drones thinking they would be less fun, it’s a different type of fun, the mini drone took an hour or 2 to reflexively learn. almost like the clutch and gears in a car.the controller was not the easiest ergonomically. however, this x 900 bigger drone with better battery is INCREDIBLE.although categorised as a moderate skill level this I would easily suggest as a perfect beginner drone.it’s not too expensive its well-made has many features which are much more premium feeling than mini drones the joystick on the controllers are better the phone features i.e. follow me, and palm control actually are decent.so here we go as per normal template a quick review in to helping you decide. I also attach a quick video to give a taste of the drone.to help the beginners - each drone needs calibration on flat ground before take-off, here this is done by stabilising the flashing light by bringing the joy sticks down and in.then you can fly by using the auto flight features, much easier, or do an unlock (joystick down and out) this will power the drone for manual take off.once in the air. wow so stable, incredible looking glorious thing. can be left to its own devices it’s so stable. (I haven’t tried in winds, but I guess it will try and maintain it stability if being thrown about a little)the joystick is smooth and responsive.  overall for the price, it’s a great drone, I would suggest skipping mini drones and getting an x900, or similar type drone in order to build up your reflex, initially flying headless mode and then flying normal mode to build you orientation.learning it is good brain exercise and somewhat tranquil a process to do. please be aware of drone flying laws.in closing positives - very easy to use drone for beginners and many professionals, well working features for advanced pilots.good study builds folds flat, the remote controller is not unnecessary complicated. the drone is very stable in air and follow commands responsively and gives a strong sense of obedience and security.negatives - battery life about 10 minutes, on low flying speeds, I wished it was better, but you could get some more batteries and change when low.camera - so much better than the mini drones enough to create decent videos from air, and search for missing objects on your roof or etc, however not the same standard as the DJ Mavic’s etc as the camera quality is not great, I wouldn’t be shooting aerial wedding views or nature scenery with this but I would be using this to explore parks and setting for sure.overall for the price this drone is really goodplease don’t feel disheartened if you can’t get the hang of it, just like car control its takes an hours or 2 to learnthis drone is forgiving I didn’t install the propeller guards, and whilst trying a loop de loop it hit the wall hard. - survived well no issues.overall I would recommend this drone as a cheap medium class drone for beginners to advanced users, but not professional users. this is definitely one of my feels good, feel satisfied purchases.

First of all, in terms of flying and control this drone is good. Loading the app to a smart phone is easy and the camera/film quality is good. It's compact and very light. The lightness is an issue in a breeze as you will lose control of it, but fly it when there's no wind and it's great. The battery power is used up quickly, but you can buy spare batteries - albeit they take time to be shipped from China. Up to this point, for me, a five star rating for the drone. Now my gripe: I specifically bought this drone for my daughter as I understood that it had the ability to write pictures and videos to a micro SD card when a card was inserted in the drone. This was an important point for me as I wanted my daughter to be independent with the drone and I didn't want her walking off with my expensive smart phone. I purchased the micro SD card to arrive with the drone and we placed it in the micro SD card slot in the drone under the battery and took some pictures and video. I removed the micro SD card placed it in the adapter and plugged it into my laptop. No images, no video. So we tried again but still no images. I then thought that the micro SD must be faulty. So I placed the card in another camera. The card worked perfectly for photos and video. OK, so back to the instruction manual as we must be doing something wrong with the drone. On page 4 of the X900 Operation Manual V1.1 it states about the remote control, 'The button for photo and camera may not be valid, which depends on the configuration of different models.' Then I read on page 3, 'The models below the version 720P do not support the memory card function, all models do not distribute the memory card, which needs to be purchased separately.' I have no idea, because I cannot find any info, what config and version I have. This experience has proven to be both time consuming and frustrating! I guess it's a case of 'buyer beware' if you are buying this drone with the expectation of a micro SD card capability!

I bought this drone for my 11-year-old son even though it says 14+. I noticed it has decent material quality and easy controls. The manual explains many things but, you have to be very gentle and use the propeller protectors as you may be hitting walls and trees. It is not very big, a little bigger than an iPhone 8 which is great for kids. My son learnt the fundamentals in 1-2 trials and he is flying it with perfect control. It seems very safe with the propeller protectors but you have to be careful with handling.After learning how to fly we pushed a micro SD memory card to see how the photos and videos will be. I must say I am impressed with their quality. Usually, the cameras on this kind of toys are low resolution but not this one.I think they can adapt more features like a stabilizer to keep it fixed at a certain point. and, they can put a led screen on the controller to give more insight for the pilot.
