IT WORKS FOR DIGITAL BALLASTS RUNNING CMH(Ceramic Metal halide)!!!!!! A first party device, of which there is no other option, would cost over 300 dollars. For reference at 45% the growers choice digital 500w ballast is the minimum. so no lower than 45% or it will not ignite the bulb. Which is the limit to the options anyways by it being a bulb needing a lot more power. Due to it only going to 10V it will not use the overdrive function of the ballast to provide the extra horsepower but some may not even need or want that.ITS GOT THE BEST TEMP SENSOR!!!This is some serious beefy and capable temp sensor. These are the types of sensors you want reading temperature of the air and EVEN THE SOIL!!! woohoo!! They are so standardized and accurate compared to a chip with circuit paths susceptible to moisture and how well designed the board is. It does only have one though. So to have simultaneous readings for various functions you will need to design your own arduino or raspberry pi based system, or buy a much more expensive device.But wow. Okay at first it did not work. But don't give up. use the adapter or rewire it if need be which is easy. I only used the cord plugged into the A port and set on "EXT".

I'm simply trying to get this device to control my heater. After three weeks of very cold plants with no heat I'm looking elsewhere, I can't make this system work.

I purchased this unit for the Sunrise/Sunset feature. Extremely convincing and easy to use unit and interface once you go over it a few times. TIP: set time to your local time before programming.

Wow a must have for a indoor grow set up !Eazy set up and can daisy chain to run multiple lights ! And the price is great with quality product! Ill update after i spend a few weeks working it but after a few days everything is great ! Couldnt be happier with this buy

Awesome product! Works as intended! the high temperature turn off will more than likely save lives and homes! One of the riskiest parts of growing, especially cannabis is protecting crops from high temps and timers are tacky and faulty, the sunrise, and sunset features are also sexy as hell and my original reason for the purchase! Its a game changer and who doesn’t like a sexy fade in and out with the lights turning on and off! However it does need to be in intervals of over 45 mins to take advantage of the sunset and sunrise settings, but the company gladly and promptly answered all my questions day and night and sent me out another just to make sure i was satisfied! Great customer service! Great products especially at the price compared to some of the others! Killer value!

The absolute number one thing that I like about this item is the customization that it allows with the sunrise sunset function.Using this feature allows the light to slowly increase and decrease at on and off times reducing stress to the plant.If you have lights that daisy chain together the controller will carry the setting to each light.The controller has environmental features as well which I've found useful in helping to control the humidity spike by turning off the humidifier at the same time as the lights this feature however needs a power strip designed to be used with the controller.I find it a bit more convenient than the regular type timers as the controller is meant to be run from outside the grow space there by making access quick and easy.I would definitely use this on any light that has the capability to be run by a controller.

In the questions and answers it says it’ll work with a Luxx 600 led even with the adapter they send Deer still does not work I tried to set it up on one light on its own did not happen. What a waste of time.
