This is a great machine and I love it! But the power supply plug seems loose and sometimes disconnects fro no reason, and then even when I plug it back in *firmly* will not charge. I have tried to get a replacement plug but nothing I buy fits the port. Eventually the connection finally makes it through, but not till half or more of the battery has drained. And it will do this at random times for no reason I can tell. I would love to buy a power supply that fit, but I have found to my sorrow that even when I put in the model number, the power supply is clearly wrong (have had to return them twice now). If someone can tell me where to buy a replacement power supply I would be delighted. The machine does not have a serial number anywhere I can find it so even the Acer site itself is no help. Right now the power supply is plugged and taped into the port and it still won't charge.

This seller upgrades the RAM, and that makes this laptop a billion times better. The design, the backlit keyboard, the responsiveness, the OS, the 15in display, and the storage is more than enough to make this laptop feel premium.I will say. If you are expecting an an Apple Macbook display, you're not going to get it with this laptop. Apple's displays are incomparable and unbeatable by any Windows computers, in my opinion. But the display is still gorgeous. It's definitely better than average.The sound is standard. Its crisp and more than enough for your average consumer.If you're using this laptop for word processing, emails, social media, and streaming media content like Netflix, this laptop is more than enough for your needs.I installed Steam for games. So far, everything is working fine. Graphics are fine. There is no lag, freezes, or anything like that.I plan to install Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, IntelliJ, and Visual Studios. If there are problems, I will update the review.Conclusion: This is a great budget laptop. It's a 15 inch display with 16GB RAM. Where else can you find a laptop with these specs at this price point? Its definitely has great value.UPDATE:I bought this PC in May 2021. It is now November 2021. I absolutely love this laptop. Sometimes I have 40 tabs open, and I still do not get lags or freezes. I have never experienced screen freezes or random shutdowns. I play games and watch Netflix without problems. I have installed many programs like Spotify, Unity Game Developer, Eclipse IDE, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studios, Adobe XD, Git, and Adobe Photoshop. I am genuinely surprised I never get crashes. I'm also surprised my system hasn't slowed down from all the storage I am using.I still love the lit keyboard-- which you can turn off. Battery life is still great. Also, I extend my computer to two monitors. If anyone wants to do that, you can do that with 1 HDMI connection and 1 USB 3.0 connection. It works like a charm.I would recommend this laptop to everyone: teachers, students, college students etc.

This is a great little laptop. Plenty of RAM, a relatively future proof processor, a backlit keyboard with nice travel, decent screen, and a fingerprint reader! The trackpad is average, but no complaints. I'd recommend this to someone looking for something that will last them 5+ years of average use.

This laptop offers pretty good specs. It’s not a power system or a gaming machine but it’s great for general use. The screen is good but definitely depends on angle of view for best results. Very fast boot up. Loads and runs software with ease. It does a decent job with most games. I’ve played a couple of older Call of Duty games with good results. Plenty of storage on the very fast SSD 1TB drive.One concern….very mediocre battery life which is unfortunately typical of many PC laptops.Overall a good system and I would recommend it for general use.

Love Acer products got the monitor also. Laptop very fast, blue light screen reduces glare. Tons of storage.

It may worth your money. It's good for general purposes, but not for playing games.
