Brilliant device
The media could not be loaded. I looked at various options for a radiator fan and this seemed like the best option for our home. The fan is very sturdy and sits on top of the radiator with magnets holding it in place. It isn't overly loud and has 2 speeds settings, we always leave it on the highest. The radiator does vibrate a bit when the fan is on but this is a radiator not the fan. We tried it on other radiators in the house without any vibrating noise. The heat blown out is very considerable and definitely makes a difference to the heat flow in our hallway where it is situated. Our hallway previously very chilly but we can feel a noticeable increase in heat in the area, especially as the radiator is next to the front door. When I put my hand over our radiators without the fan the heat is ok but when the fan is on the heat being blown out is considerably increased.I have linked the fan up to a smart plug too so I can turn it on from my phone when the heating comes on and goes off, I would recommend this to make it more convenient. Some radiator fans come on when the radiator reaches a certain temperature but they are also more costly so a smart plug is a great alternative. There is a nice long power cable too so you can put it quite far away from a plug socket.I have tried the fan in other rooms too but our hallway seemed the best option although I'm thinking of buying another one for our bedroom as the radiator is quite small in there.Overall I would definitely recommend the radiator fan, a simple solution with great results!

Really works
Works brilliantly. Heats the room up so much quicker. It makes very little noise and if the tv is on you don't even notice its on until you start sweating 😅. The only thing that spoil it is the black brackets, I may well paint them white myself.Well worth the money.

pushes radiator heat into the room
I checked the reviews before I bought this item, and I am really pleased with my purchase! My sitting room is so much warmer as the radiator heat is pushed out into the room like a warm breeze on a summer day. Yes the fans make a little humming noise, but so what? a small thing to tolerate and the bonus is a warm room.

Good but not quite as good as I expected.
I ordered this after seeing a similar thing in one of those home shopping catalogues you find between the pages of magazines. The one I saw blew downwards, which seemed pointless, so I looked for one that blew outwards. On the plus side it seems quite well made and sits neatly on top of the radiator with magnets to hold it in place. And it has two speed settings which is useful. It is also quiet in operation. On the minus side, though it helps to warm up the room faster I think it could blow harder - beyond six feet away I couldn't feel it. Plus as other reviewers have said a thermostat to switch it on automatically when the radiator gets hot would be useful. Instead I have it plugged into a timer switch so it comes on a few minutes after the heating. Finally I think it is a little overpriced for what it is - a metal box with a fan inside powered by an electric motor. Overall though I am glad I bought it.

Fan didn't work.
Unfortunately the fan, the essential part of course, for the product didn't work so am returning it. Shame as the product looked good, but as mentioned by other customers is really only suitable for double radiators like ours.

Small but effective
I bought this with a bit of scepticism thinking it wouldn’t be any good but wanted to try it anyway. What a surprise though, it works and it works well. I read all the reviews first but I’m happy to say there is a very noticeable difference. Straight out of the box, plugged it in and switch it on, the fan with no heat going through it is like a sparrow with asthma, put it on the radiator though and the rising heat gives it a little most zest and it’s away, the heat isn’t hot but I’d liken it to having a nice warm breeze, like when you step off the plane in a hot country. It is constant and quiet and because the air is moving forwards it circulates better. On the hunt for a bigger one now for the lounge, definitely recommend!

Not bad but could be improved
My problem is that the radiator in our living room is undersized, and it would be a lot of trouble to install an additional radiator. On cold winter days we use our electric fire to get the room up to temperature quickly. I bought the radiator fan to see if it would boost the radiator output so that we could use the electric fire less. The improvement is not dramatic, but it does work. I did several tests, and found that the room gets up to temperature rather more quickly, due to the substantially increased air flow. The two main problems with the product are 1) Noise - it's bearable, but can be rather annoying when there is no TV on, and the room is otherwise quiet. Our electric fire has a similar fan and is much quieter in comparison. I feel the noise could be reduced if the manufacturer used a better motor. 2) No thermostat to switch the fan on automatically whenever the radiator becomes warm. (When the fan is not switched on, the air flow is actually rather worse than it was before fitting). I think both of these shortcomings could be addressed by the manufacturer without a dramatic increase in price, and it would make the product so much better - I I believe it would then easily beat all the competing products.
