Logic Grid Puzzles: Word Games for Brain Training

Good logic puzzle book.
The quality of the book is excellent, although the cover has a slight sheen to it, it doesn’t feel like it’s going to slip from your grasp, quite the opposite actually. It’s a good size book measuring 6x9 inches, and just over half an inch thick, and weighs just over 400g so may be too big for some people to carry around. The pages are a lovely crisp white colour, with one puzzle to a page. ALL the puzzles are a 3x3 grid divided into 5x5 squares. Normally logic puzzles of this size are fairly easy, but I haven’t tried them all yet, I’ve only done the first 10 and they were very easy. I would have liked to have seen bigger puzzles near the end of the book. For £7 I think it is good value for money, that works out a just over 3p a puzzle, that’s not including the cost of publishing and materials etc, much cheaper than a well known brand that charges £2.95 for 50 puzzles. One thing I discovered after purchasing the book is this is available as an app in the IOS App Store (not sure if it is available for Android or Windows phones/tablets), the first 10 puzzles are free, with the option to buy 25 puzzles at a time for 99p each or all of them for £1.99

Logic puzzles but not progressive.
Yes, as it says on the cover, this is a book of LOTS of logic puzzles. That's fine. What's not so good is that the difficulty of the puzzles doesn't really progress . There are a few more options, so a larger grid but the style of the questions is always the same. It's training in how to solve this type of puzzle but not inventive or imaginative; I'd hoped for something a bit more creative. I didn't take to the very American style of the language in the questions but that's just a personal preference. The solutions appear at the back. To be really helpful the route taken to reach the solution should be shown. I've found a lovely Logic Puzzles book (green & gold cover) on Amazon which suits me much better.

Perfect!
Was a present to my Mum and was received very well. She was looking forward to her mind being tingled (high expectation to live up to!) but it obviously delivered, as less than 10 minutes after opening it (in the middle of Christmas Dinner preparation!) she was engrossed in the first puzzle. She was also impressed by the size of the book. These puzzles are extremely difficult to buy in stores now, the best bet being a puzzle compendium but even these only have about 3 Logic Puzzles in. This book will keep her going for a while :)Thank you so much!

I have really enjoyed these puzzles
I have really enjoyed these puzzles. Some of them have been contradictory or don't hold all the information you require to complete them. Although I have enjoyed doing most of them. I think it is a bit pricey for what it is though.

210 logic puzzles to keep you entertained for a long long time!
I'm addicted to this style of puzzle. This book has 210 logic puzzles to keep you going for a long time, all printed in A5 size.My only gripe would be that all puzzles are 5x5 - it would have been nice to have a range of difficulties.

Disappointed
Normally these kind of puzzles have a table to complete with your information at the bottom of the page. I thought the real challenge was to complete that table without filling in every cross in the grid! There is not much of a challenge in just filling in every cross. Disappointing I would have given it a 5 if it had had the table included.

Great item
Some of the puzzles the wording is a little off, but a great way to test your mind
