I was able to adjust the collar to fit my mini-dachshund ok. Despite following the instructions though, and making it as tight as instructed (felt overly tight tbh) it swung round her neck every time she moved. However, upon barking, the collar beeped, and Mabel spent 2 minutes each time looking in the grass for the noise. It stopped her barking definitely. I now put it on her only temporarily when she is in the back garden yapping. Even just putting the collar on Mabel loosely works - it doesn't need to be switched on, I think the weight of it stops her noise. The instructions suggest leaving the collar on for 12 hours initially, but it has to be so tight for the 'beep' to work that its very restrictive and will not stay in place across her windpipe. Maybe its the long neck of her breed that causes the slippage. I would recommend the collar, despite my reservations on its fitting.Not if it's fitted correctly. However, the collar swivelled round constantly with every movement on my mini daschund. When I asked for a solution, the company advised me to put a rubber band on it. Poor response in my opinion. I solved the problem by painting the shiny nylon collar in Copydex rubber glue. Once dry, it created a non-slip device. The collar does work, if you can get it to sit right.

The collar operates as stated. Unfortunately, my Chihuahua is tiny. She weighs less than 4lbs and it wasn’t until I reread the info that I realised that the minimum weight is 6lbs. There is an image on the item description that depicts Chihuahuas so I thought this would fit. However, once I knew the item worked I shortened the collar to fit her neck. Now I am pleased with the results. I have it on the 5 setting and give her the no command when she barks and the beep is activated. I’ve only used it for a few days, so it’s early to know if it will stop her barking at other dogs. I’m hoping for success.

Seemed rubbish at first, kept slipping, didn't always activate etc, but these days my chi is much improved, barely a yap put of him now.For a while he would go CRAZY everytime we saw other dogs (he was attacked by my neighbours vicious dog who took chunks out of my boyfriend on several occasions) but now he's pretty good, last couple of days he's been almost entirely ignoring any dogs we see which is great because he's one of 4 dogs, 2 are only 6 months old and I don't want them picking up bad habitsAlso my chi is being trained as an autism service dog and obviously there's no chance he'd be able to be a proper service dog with the barking issue :)Now that he's learning to ignore other dogs again we can spend more time on energy on him learning the tasks he requires to qualify as a service dog :)So yeh, very happy with this collar :)

Bought this for my 8 month old chihuahua, who’s excessive barking was doing my head in and nothing we tried was working.The first time I put it on him, it got to the vibrate and it really startled him, needless to say it rarely ever gets beyond beep 2 now which is amazing.The only thing annoying about this collar is that although I fit it very tight on his neck, it manages to work lose during a walk, so doesn’t sit in the right place. I’m finding myself forever stopping and tightening during a walk, otherwise it doesn’t do it’s job.Overall, I would highly recommend this collar, I’ve been very impressed so far and seen a huge improvement in his erratic barking while out on walks.

I tried this for my small chihuahua as he's quite yappy. Unfortunately in my opinion it's not suitable for this size dog as no matter how tight the collar was as soon as the dog moved his head it would move to the side of his neck therefore not work when he yapped.The concept is great and it may be fine for dogs with a bigger neck.I've since had to purchase another brand off amazon and that one has been spot on it doesn't move therefore its effective and works brilliant.

I never write reviews but this is a god send. My Daushound Mini Puppy was very happy and stubborn. The second this went on. Her barking stopped. She is sulking a bit though I can tell as we have tried other collars so she know the sounds,but she is still very loving but so far not a squeek. We have tried every small collar available and this is by far the most comfortable and it doesn't go off every time she walks like the others have.

Used it on a 10 month old male mini pincher of 3kg.The first hour the noise and vibration really impressed him but he quickly understood and up to now this Bark Collar works effectively as loud barking deterrent. I ordered a 2nd one for my other mini pincher.Its price for the functionality is unmatched.This is the only collar i found without uncomfortable prongs and that can be recharged via USB.I recommend it without hesitation.

Really good fit, Adjustable to quite a small size. The device itself is not to heavy or bulky for Merlin (the chihuahua we bought it for). We only use it on walks as he has a habit of barking at other dogs while out. This settles him down to a low grumble like noise although it did go off when I leant down and adjusted his harness and spoke to him. 3 different settings we found the long noise was good and worked better with him then the first 2 sets.
