Orthopaedic travel neck pillow made from soft, comfortable memory foam, thermo-active and viscoelastic, carry bag.

A superb little travel pillow. About half the width of a standard memory foam pillow, and shaped, higher one edge for back sleepers, and lower one edge for side sleepers. The foam is quite soft, making the pillow easy to roll up, but surprisingly supportive. I was sceptical when it first arrived - I thought I'd roll off it in the night - but I didn't. I was away for 2 weeks in hotels and private houses, and for the first time ever, managed to sleep well, comfortably, with neck support (I'm a side sleeper, so used the lower edge). It gets a bit lost in a standard pillowcase, but it's worth it to keep it clean. The pillow cover is removable for washing though. Rolls up into its own carry bag. Recommended

Some years ago I suffered a pretty bad neck injury and have had to use orthopedic pillows to avoid further pain and injury. I travel quite a bit, often in remote locations, and so have been looking around for a good travel option as hotel pillows tend to set the injury off again and camping certainly gets it going. This little fella is ingenious - as if someone took a pair of scissors to my standard version; it may be small but it's just as good. I suppose it's about a third of the size (see measurements in product notes) of a 'normal' pillow but works just as well, as you do adjust subconsciously to the smaller size. It really packs down small, which means that it is a very viable travel option and can be squeezed into the corner of a suitcase or the bottom of a rucksack in the drawstring sack with which it comes. Be aware that it doesn't come with a proper pillow case, only the zippered material inner which protects the foam so you will need to get one for this. Unless you adapt a standard pillow case yourself, your best bet is to get hold of a travel or child's pillow case measuring approximately 30cms x 40cms and stuff the thing longways down into the narrow end, folding the longer end over and tucking under the excess when you bed down.

A good product. Great for travelling if you need to save space but I usually pop a fleece underneath to give it a bit more height. Folds up into a compact bag.

Cannot believe I didn’t know about this product sooner! It’s perfect as we go travelling and camping a lot. I forgot my memory foam pillow for a week in Greece a few years ago and spent the week with a painful neck and resorted to trying the giant painkillers they gave me from a local pharmacy. It’s perfect, it’s slightly softer than my permanent Home memory foam one but the shape is identical and it’s still giving the same amount support. The stuff sac is great. Fits easily if you fold it as it comes when you open the package and folds pretty small in the stuff sac, much better than taking up 1/3 of my suitcase space. Can’t wait to test it travelling this summer.

I had neck problems for years that were fixed by buying an orthopedic pillow and this is a great travel version of the same. It's softer than my full size pillow but has the same shape so works very well. I've used it on two holidays of a week each and it's been good. It is quite small but I've had no problems keeping my head on it during the night. It rolls up into it's bag so is very convenient for hand luggage and doesn't take up much room at all.

I'm really pleased with this. Don't be alarmed when you see the scrunched up object that emerges from the bag it comes in - it takes a little time for the memory foam to remember itself, but soon there is a lovely plump little pillow waiting for you. It's a great shape and provides really good neck support, and it's a good size - just wide enough to provide a good home for the head and narrow enough to make it a very convenient travel pillow to take places. I don't think I'd bother putting it back in the travel bag it comes in, as it will take up very little room in a suitcase anyway, but it's a handy option to have.

Not as good as my Tempur

I have this pillow in the full-sized version and it really helps my bad neck/shoulder and I find it comfy to sleep on, so was pleased to see that I could get it in a travel size so that I can take it on holiday and trips with me. It is quite small but does the job for short periods. It folds up easily into the travel bag but springs back into shape once you take it out. It doesn't make my head sweat, even in the hot weather we've been having. I do put it into a regular pillow case which you have to fold in half. Give it a try.

Meine erste Rezension!Und nur, weil ich von diesem Kissen absolut begeistert bin. Ich habe nach einem kleínen orthopädischen Kissen gesucht, da ich viel auf unterwegs bin und mein "Tempur Ombracio" weder auf Trekking-Touren, noch auf Dienstreisen oder Urlaube mitnehmen kann.Es kam innerhalb kürzester Zeit wohlverpackt an und hat sich innerhalb von 2 h zu seiner vollen Größe enfaltet. Beigelegt ist ein wasserabweisender Packsack, den ich vor meinem Mann (Ultralight-Trekker) verstecken muss. Beides - Packsack und Kissen - sind gut verarbeitet, saubere Nähte und hochwertige Materialien.Der Bezug lässt sich leicht entfernen, da das Kissen aufgrund seiner Viskoelastizität gut zu knautschen ist, sich jedoch eben so schnell wieder entfaltet.Natürlich habe ich die erste Nacht direkt darauf geschlafen, einen normalen Kissenbezug habe ich in "Schiffchenform" gefaltet und werde noch andere passgenaue Stoffbezüge nähen, was schnell und einfach auch per Hand geht.Ich habe mehrere Bandscheibenvorfälle in HWS- und LWS-Bereich, ein Craniomandibuläres Schmerzsyndrom, bin "Knirscherin" und Halbseiten- bzw. Seitenschläferin. Die Kissenhöhe ist perfekt (vorher einfach Schulter-Ohr-Abstand messen, dann gibt es auch keine Überraschungen wegen der Höhe), es ist weder so weich, dass man "durchsinkt", wie bei anderen Reise-Memory-Schaum-Kissen, noch zu hart, dass das Ohr rot wird.Wie gesagt, eigentlich war dieses Kissen für Reisen gedacht, aber ich habe so gut daruf geschlafen, dass ich wirklich am Überlegen bin, es gegen mein Tempur-Kissen auszutauschen; die Kissen im Wohnmobil werden definitiv durch dieses ersetzt, wenn es sich im Langzeit-Test bewährt!Auf jeden Fall werde ich ein Zweites bestellen, da jetzt meine Tochter (mit der flacheren Seite unterm Kinn) es sich damit gemütlich gemacht hat!Von mir also ein absoluter Kauf-Tipp, obwohl es sich hier natürlich nur um einen ersten Eindruck handelt!+ klein verpackbar,+ leicht,+ sehr gute Verarbeitung,+ funktionelle Transportverpackung,+ entspricht in den Maßen (Größe und Gewicht) der Beschreibung+ keine wahrnehmbaren Ausdünstungen,+ (anscheinend, bin ja kein Chemiker) hochwertiger Memoryschaum,+ ausgezeichnete Viskoelastizität,+ angenehme Temperaturregelung (kein Schwitzgefühl, wie auf aufblasbaren Reisekissen!),+ hoher Liege- und Schlafkomfort,+ trägt zu einer entspannten Schlafhaltung bei (wenn zu den anatomischen Voraussetzungen passend)Ich habe echt überlgt, mir fällt kein Negativ-Punkt ein. Wünschenswert wäre natürlich die Möglichkeit, Stoffbezüge bestellen zu können, aber damit hat auch Tempur sich für seine Spezialkissen hjahrelang Zeit gelassen - und, wie gesagt, so ein Bezug ist schnell selbst genäht und notfalls zur Überbrückung tut es auch ein T-Shirt, was man drüberzieht. ;-)

Evidentemente no es para llevarla de acampada, ya que ocupa lo mismo que un saco, pero es muy cómoda, tamaño cabeza, y para ir de viaje sin llevar la normal grande va bien. También la utilizo para el coche como cojín si tienes a estar muchas horas de viaje

Ottimo cuscino da viaggio per chi vuole un cuscino "a onda", che dà sostegno alla zona cervicale. Non è molto "duro" ma comunque dà un buon sostegno ed è piccolo e leggero quindi facile da trasportare. Sono soddisfatto

Das Kissen kam gerollt an. Nach dem Auspacken entfaltete es über einen Zeitraum von 4 Stunden zu nur 2/3. Aus meiner Sicht ist dieser Aspekt aber zu vernachlässigen,da das Kissen durch den Gebrauch auch noch zusätzlich in eine glatte Form gebracht wird. Sehr angenehm überrascht war ich darüber, dass von dem Kissen kein Chemiegeruch wie es bei neuen Produkten üblich ist, ausging. Ich konnte das Kissen sofort über Nacht einsetzen. Der Schlafkomfort ist gut. Das Kissen ist aber sehr schmal, 25 cm breit nach dem Entfalten, so dass mein Kopf gerade rauf passt. Für Seiten und Rückenschläfer gut geeignet, aber wer sich viel über Nacht dreht, wird vermutlich vom Kissen herunter Rollen. Für mich hätte das Kissen gut 5 cm breiter sein können. Aufgrund des schmalen und leichten Formats ist es gut für die Reise geeignet. Ich werde mir nicht die Mühe machen, es in die Tasche zu quetschen. Es passt auch bei kleinen Koffern gut oben auf. Bezug und Viscoschaumkern machen einen guten, wertigen Eindruck.Wie lange es haltbar kann ich nicht einschätzen. Aber aus meiner Sicht besteht hier ein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis.
