Great looking product. Sturdy.When you receive the package of door stops, your automatic response is "where are the screws?"This isn't a plug-and-play product, folks.With a little tinkering and tampering, you see that the flat end of the stopper screws off and that the mounting screw is inside. Fasten the round base mount to the wall with the screw and then attach the stopper to the mount by threading the end of the stopper's wound wire through the small hole in the base and them twist to tighten.It doesn't take an Einstein, but the dealer still should have explained this detail somewhere within the order.Minus one star.

If you have little kids you will understand this post. I have tHree little kids and they look cr thebsound that springs make. So they play with them and bend them out of shap. My wife took off the caps so the kids would not swollow them. And now doors are all scuffed up. I have hot glued the caps on but they still would come off.These caps don’t come off. No need for glue. Great.

The screw for each door stopper is located inside the pieces. Just untwist the bottom and shack the screws out. This was extremely easy to install ot takes a few seconds. All you need is a screwdriver. These look nice. If you have crawling babies don’t worry, these do not come off as easily as other door stoppers. Your crawling baby would have to have strength beyond belief in order to twist and pull these off. I recommend these door stoppers.

These were very easy to install with a Philips head screwdriver. I replaced all the rigid door stops my new home had previously installed. When we bought our home I thought, "Oh wow, these are rigid, they must be higher quality than the spring-like ones at our previous home." Within 6 months my toddler had ripped about 4 of them from the base trim, splitting base boards randomly throughout our home. I quickly realized the spring door stops are not designed for "absorbing impact" due to doors being opened too hard, but instead are springs so they do not rip from walls, baseboards, etc when they are inevitably stepped on. Perfect fix to a situation that was ruining trimwork throughout my home.

We rented a place that was full of a cheaper versions of these and after my little ones used them to make music they would pull the white part off and try to eat them. AGAIN THAT WAS NOT THESE!!! So of course we had to take them off so when we moved we had to replace them and bought these. I wish we would have started with these because they are a much better quality.

I was VERY hesitant about the design reading other reviews, but very happy now receiving them. Just remove base and screw from inside spring. Screw base to wall. Put spring back on and wind clockwise. Very sturdy.Black (as pictured. not bronze). The only bronze part is the rubbed area you can't see under the base.Easy install, great quality. Spring is thick and sturdy. Cap is rubbery-plastic.I bought because they were cheaper than buyinv the replacement caps only. I planned to pull the caps off, but these are much nicer than my decent old ones. So i just replaced all the stops completely, in minutes. I did pull caps off three extra to put on the door stops installed above on some hinges, and they fit perfect there too! Well, my husband got the caps off (with some major twisting effort required) , since I couldn't budge them. Very happy!I paid full price, found this completely on my own, and nobody asked me to leave feedback of any sort. I'm just really happy!

Easy to install. I do predrill a hole before screwing the base onto the plate. The white cap doesn't come off, so one less thing to fiddle with. I have previously installed the solid door stoppers in my rental house but they got ripped off by tenants. Maybe they stepped on them and they break. Hopefully the spring loaded ones will be the solution.

When the door is opened too hard (I have teenage daughters, enough said), these collapse and the door knob puts a hole in the wall!!!!!!!However, I also have a toddler, and he has been unable to pull the little rubber piece off and chew on it. This was a key factor that fueled the original purchase. However, the holes in the wall trump this. I can’t overlook the holes in the wall!
