Hi my 8yr old is in age 11-12 clothes so i had the xl, fits him great.

Hiya, my 13 year old son wore this last year for a play and was at the time in 12 - 13 sizes, the trousers were perhaps a bit short but on the whole it did fit well.

Q: Hey my son wears age 14 would he need an extra large ?

Yes. I have also added turn ups and cuffs to lengthen the legs & arms. This is partly to give the trousers extra weight as we are using them for a play. But probably fine as it is if just being used as one off
