I ordered this on Sunday (25th Sept) and it was delivered Tuesday (27th Sept) so full marks for such a speedy service. I was a little surprised at the size of the box when it arrived, but the inner packaging was a lot slimmer so I was a bit happier. The box seems quite solid in structure and looks quite stylish. My 32" TV fits really well on top of it.Initially I had a problem with it as, even though I followed the instructions, I could get no sound at all from it and the remote wouldn't work. I contacted the seller right away and within an hour I had a reply with some VERY helpful advice. In no time I had fantastic sound filling the room. I was thrilled as my TV tends to buzz at times, I guess it's because the thin flat screen don't have room for decent speakers.I was told that I would get a replacement remote send out but I decided to try once again to get it to work and, with a bit of tweaking to the contact strip under the battery, I managed to get it to work, so everything is fantastic.This is my first ever sound bar so I wasn't too sure what to expect. I have to say that even wothout the optical cable (still waiting for one to arrive), the sound is brilliant. I know I've only had it one day, but if it continues to give the same sound quality as time goes on I'll be one very happy buyer. I can really recommend this seller, so give them a try.

Initially, I was looking for speakers as an optical out for my PS4 and then came across this. I soon realised it ticked all the boxes for what I needed and more. The reviews were positive so I thought I'd give it a go.My 42 inch TV sits on it just right and it outputs sound from my PC/Kodi box - via the supplied 3.5mm to RCA cable - and via my PS4's optical out, mainly to use Rocksmith 2014 for the audio signal, and there is now zero lag opposed to 1 second via HDMI. Just what I wanted.The bass boost is a bit too heavy for me and, like other reviewers, I switch it off for most audio - although I have switched it on for some music streamed on Prime and it sounds very good. If you like heavy bass the boost is great. It's handy to have if needed but, on the whole, I use it without the bass boost and it sounds just how i want it. It produces a decent and consistent sound with enough 'boom' for watching movies and playing games. Bluetooth is also a very handy feature/output for connecting up phones for calls/music etc.It cannot compete with the likes of a Sonos soundbar for sound quality but, for what I wanted it for: PS4 optical output for Rocksmith 2014 and for something more substantial than my tinny TV speakers, it does the job very well and is excellent value at £65 so it definitely deserves a 5 star rating in my book.

This is a little beauty! (although in fairness, not that little). You really need to rate this against its price and other alternatives, and in that respect you'd be hard pushed to better it. Forget worrying about the fact that you don't know the brand name. There are numerous high class hi-fi units in dedicated sound stores with brand names that don't get near the retail outfits and they generally sound far better than the well known names. Some reviewers have said it's too bass heavy, but it will probably give you a better sound than the TV speakers even with the bass off. So it's your choice....I would say that you will need to connect via optical link rather than the conventional red/white phonos that are supplied. If, like me, you possess an early flat screen TV without an optical connection then you may find yourself linking up via a newer DVD player. There is a big difference in quality between optical and phonos so bear that in mind. Does it tick the boxes? Sound, yes (try finding something else at this price). Looks, I like it. It's fairly large and black, but then so is my TV which sits nicely on top of it (some people may find it ugly but is there a good looking sound bar out there)? Price, the outlay is a great deal less than most others on the market. I'd give it the thumb's up.

For the price paid this soundbase is excellent. Set it up under a Samsung TV that had pretty mediocre sound (don't they all these days) and has improved the acoustics substantially. I would rate the sound quality as fair in that it does a great job with mids (voice clarity and dialogue is excellent) however lacks some dynamism and punch when it comes to base and more action oriented sound. That said, it's far and above better than the rather basic sound offered by TVs these days.Set up was very easy using HDMI ARC and other than setting the desired EQ setting on the box, I just use the TV remote now. ARC switches the box on and off with the TV too which is handy.Great buy for the price.

This item is quite a good item to use instead of the useless speakers built into flat screen TV panels. I read the reviews of this product on Amazon and must admin had never heard of this company. I am pleased I did spend some time investigating this product and took the chance of purchasing this superb TV sound unit. The product arrived on time and was will protected, I read the simple instructions and fitted the unit under the TV and plugged in the optical lead (not supplied), the sound was outstanding and we were very surprised at the simplicity of the unit. I added the (supplied) RCA phono lead and that was all the connections required appart from the power cable. We have used the superbly simple BLUE TOOTH connection with our wi fi sound sources and we are still amazed at how good the sound is and it's easy connection. The tiny remote is very easy to use. Like quite a few of the other reviewers we can't understand what happens to the sound when and if you opt to use the bass button because the unit produces some weird and tinny bubbly tinny noises! That is the only problem we found with this superb unit, they even supply a two year warranty and at the price I paid on Amazon it was a superb gem of a find.
