Bought this to repel slugs from my little plastic greenhouses and it works well as a natural pest control which lets me keep my plants without worrying about the garden wildlife accidentally eating something poisonous. You can use it as-is, or make a garlic water solution to make a spray.Some tips:- DO NOT keep it in the house. Whatever you think this smells like, it is a thousand times worse. It is diabolical. Double or triple bag it in sealable freezer bags and keep it far away from anything you don’t want smelling like garlic.- Be careful where you use it, because the smell WILL linger, even after rain. If you hang your clothes outside to dry, do not use it near the clothesline!- When the bottle is open, stay downwind. It doesn’t matter if you don’t get it on you or your clothes. Just the fumes wafting against you will have you smelling of this until you have a shower, and even then you might need to exfoliate your hands to get the smell off all the way.- DO NOT open or handle the bottle in any way if you are planning to do some task or errand afterwards. As above, the smell absolutely will stay with you, even if you have become nose-blind to it. The smell is offensive to any living creature that gets near it, you don’t want to be out and about with it on you.It really is inescapable. Well worth the price.

The postman could not wait to get this out of his bag!! The bottle top had come slightly undone (it doesn't seem to be the most secure) and there was a tiny, and I mean tiny, amount inside the bubble wrap/on the bottle neck, but the parcel stunk out EVERYTHING. I've since had to store it outside and the smell on my hands from simply washing the bottle clean is still there 24hrs later. I'm not complaining, as this is obviously a great and powerful product, but do go in with your eyes open, folks!! This WILL stink out the whole house just by sitting on the counter, in a glass bottle! For the person who queried about rubbing it on their dog to keep fleas away...well...you may regret that when your dog smells of garlic for a week. ;)

This oil is really strong. I bought it to get rid of a vole that was destroying my garden and it worked brilliantly! I use it now as a bug repellent. At first I kept it in the kitchen under the sink but the whole kitchen smelled horrible. So now it is in the garden shed wrapped in 3 different bags inside a box and I can still smell the garlic.

Concerned it states on write up that you can consume, but on the bottle says you can't, would love to know if okay as just thrown a load of veg away having covered it in the oil. Must say it truely is very pungent.

Product is okay, but the smell is unbearable, had to keep it outside. Even the postman was inquisitive to know what I have ordered.

Pure but smelly ! if you are after a pure garlic oil this is the one for you but you have to bear the smell bit!

I use this oil for home made flie spray for horses. Yes it STINKS but keeps dreaded horse flies away for much longer and at a fraction of the cost of proprietary products.
