If you're looking for a project that will result in a great finished product, this is it -- on the other hand, if you're looking for something that is basically ready to use out of the box, this is probably not for you. The table top comes preassembed, but the legs and bench/sets all have to be put together. It's a bit of a project. Also, while it's pressure treated, it does need to be stained with a water resistant stain and to really make that look good, the whole thing needs to be sanded first.For me, I spent about an hour putting it together. My wife then spent and hour or so sanding it with a power sander. Then the kids helped us with the stain. The finished product is great and holds the family memory of us all working on this together. But, as said, it definitely required elbow grease to do it right.
