Works well for keeping dehydrated fruit colour
While this powdered form of vitamin C is good as a supplement for health. Mixing well with water or as I prefer an addition to my smoothies. It also works as a natural soak for fresh fruit prior to dehydrating so the fruit keeps its colour.

No scoop
My only complain with this is that there is no scoop to measure out the powder. I have a 5g scoop from a previous supplement so I estimate 1g. This is a little sour but it's tolerable. My son catches colds easily and my immune system is not good due to existing health issues so this is great to help me fight over these constant attacks.

It does not dissolve in water.
It does not dissolve in water. It needed far too much stirring to make it drinkable.

1KG Pure Ascorbic Acid, Great value for money.
This is a large 1kg tub of "Vitamin C Pure", Pure ascorbic acid. The tub comes with a plastic pull tab security seal. Once this is opened the lid does not have a child safety feature. It simply pushes on and off.It states to store in a dry place at room temperature and to keep out of reach of young children. The powder dissolves very well in water and other drinks. The recommended serving size is 1 level measure spoon (1,0 gram) however there is no serving spoon included which can make it confusing as to what size spoon you should use.The powder has a glittery sheen to it but it is very very fine. Care should be taken when opening it as its very easy to accidentally spill. The taste of the powder is a very sour, however this can be easily disguised if diluted with juice or cordial. Orange cordial tastes great with it as the flavours blend together. The health claims are all listed on the side of the container in my included picture. It is great value for money and I would highly recommend to others.☆☆☆☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆.

Useful for the winter months
Good value for money. Easy to use. Thankfully a scoop is included, as who wants to weigh out 1g?! You might have to dig around for the scoop first though. I've always liked vitamin C in powder form as feel it gets into the system better. So good at this time of year to aid Vitamin D absorption and to help combat the dreaded colds and flu. It's not a miracle worker, but does seem to help. This is a little more sharp than what I usually have, but then it doesn't have the sweeteners added. Quick stir and down the hatch, job done!

Economical, efficient, and surprisingly refreshing to drink!
I’d never taken vitamin C in powder form before, but last year a herbal practitioner I know and who has given me some excellent advice in the past suggested I try it. I have persistent problems with my gums and she claims that this can often be down to a vitamin C deficiency. The dosage she recommended is much higher than what you’d get in a normal pill, and she said powder is the best way to get it. I hadn’t got round to trying this yet so was very pleased to be offered this item for review. I was very pleased that this massive 1000g jar includes a tiny scoop for perfect dosage, and I found this without any issue just by giving the open jar a gentle shake until it emerged from the powder. I dove right in by adding a whopping 10g to the 2L water bottle I use to get my daily requirement of water. It dissolved well with a good shake. I was a bit concerned how it was going to taste. Well, the flavour did kind of punch me in the mouth, but not in a bad way. It was very, very tart but not in an unpalatable way such as, say, lemon juice might be. It’s quite drinkable once you get used to it, and even refreshing. Of course, it could also be mixed into drinks other than water or you could add sugar if you found it too tart. But I expect to be drinking it neat. And given how economical this works out to be and how convenient, I expect to be incorporating it into my regular routine, and that this will become my usual method of vitamin C intake.
