when it works it works
I’ve had this camera for 6 months now, so I feel pretty qualified in giving a rundown of what the camera is like and what you should expect. I’ve shot 6 different rolls through it, colour and black/white. I have attached examples of when photos have come out great and when they haven’t as that is the reality of using this camera.Cons:You have to be using it on the brightest of days. Any sort of darkness or a cloudy day you’re really going to struggle. Using the flash outside is pointless on it half the time, this is a common trend with this camera. On bright days you can still get some underexposed shots, it feels like the mechanism is a bit sticky/temperamental. The best thing to do is not to wind to the next shot until you are about to take it.Pros:You can slap anything in it and when they come out right they really do come out right.Loading and unloading film is a breeze, I never had it jam/seize/leak light. Its really straight forward to use, you just point and shoot. Its a really cheap camera to find out whether you do want to get into film or not and brings the reality of film to you.Overall, its cheap and cheerful, but don’t go expecting too much. Its a good camera to see whether you would like to get into film further. Just remember when you’ve spent £10 on film, £12-18 on development, and half of your photos come out crap you are gonna feel a bit burnt
