The 4 Just Men - Just Great
Broadcast from 1959 to 1960, the four men of the title previously fought in WW11 together, summoned by their commanding officer just before he dies, they agree to join together to fight crime and injustice, with the help of substantial funds left to them. The four main stars, Jack Hawkins, Dan Dailey, Vittoria De Sica, and Richard Conte, alternate through each episode, which is set in various locations around the world, this gives the series a nice cosmopolitan feel, various stars of the era also make guest appearances.Although I found some episodes better than others, I couldn't find a weak episode here. To sum up, I found this to be an excellent early ITC TV series, with great performances from the four leads and guest stars, with high production values and excellent scripts, each 25 minute, black and white episode is nicely paced. This 39 episode complete series features excellent picture and sound quality (except the first episode) with no subtitles. The special features are an episodic picture gallery, and Press and PR.The five discs are neatly stored in a single-size dvd case, so it's nice and compact. If you like other ITC television series, I'm confident you will like this.

Brilliant - takes me back to a time when watching television was enjoyable !
This series is brilliant value. Superb short stories, well acted in 30 minutes. No special effects necessary just great little plots. I disagree with critics saying the episodes were too short, The whole point is that if a story can't be told in 30 minutes its probably not worth spending 13 a part series to get the same ending. Actually the quality of the movie on my cheap 32 in LED Sony is excellent despite my fears so you don't need a high end Tv to watch these old movies either. Go and buy - enjoy the lockdown !

Original footage
The stories, which are short and simple, are filmed in black and white. However, they are mixed with original footage of the 60-ties ,which makes it more interesting from an historical perspective.

A Great Curio
This series is not as much fun nor as intense as it should have been. Still, any of the stories are interesting, even compelling. 24 minutes is too little per episode and 1 hour would have been too much, so if 45 minutes had been the usual, there would have been time to flesh out the usually skimpy plots, characterizations and motivations. The attraction, of course, is the four stars none of whom frequented televison: the intense Jack Hawkins, the dapper Dan Daily, the continental Vittoria de Sica, and the embodiment of film noir, Richard Conte. They add class and unusual gravitas that make the episodes more interesting than otherwise they would be.Worth watching and worth buying, but wait for a good sale.

varied lead actors/locations
so where to start....pussy galore? honor blackman was the main squeeze of dan dailey, with a french accent no less....then there's jack hawkins, always a pleasure....1/2 hour stories that were fun and concise.....behind the scenes goings on of rich men, corrupt men, and things pretty much ran back in the 50-60s as they seem to run now.....

Brilliant Collection
Did not know what to expect. Great seeing some up and coming actors in other ITC productions. The episodes are really good storyline & quality. The first episode is not the best visual quality, but don't let it put you off. This is a great dvd set.

Great cinematography- stories etc
Good actors and real nice, heavy plots . I only just got it so I watched snippets, but, the plots are deep with good essence to the series!
