Well, it wasn't polyester/ cotton top covering, but the cheap see through covering you have when you buy a TV etc. The duvet you could see the filling in each section which was very sporadic. You could see the filling clearly through the ' thin and cheap' cover. The picture doesn't give you the true look and filling but is deceptive. I've now used it as filling for my dogs bed in the car. He seems to like it. I wouldn't want it on my bed or near to my skin as it looks and feels like a plastic sweat box.

Beautiful. Ive got disabilities and get very cold but when i put this on my bed in the cover ive not needed my electric blanket.I live in a static mobile home so i needed this. Would recommend this duvet to everyone.

Very happy with this purchase, nice and worn duvet .

Weird material (looks like a single use thing), but i guess it does the job.

Over all a good quilt for the price.
