Really happy with this light!
I'm not real happy yet, and I don't even have the light bar functional. Just received the package from Amazon yesterday, and I was so excited to get this thing put together. But I'm not an engineer. I'm a truck driver. I do all maintenance on my vehicles and on my house, and for the most part, don't have too much trouble. But the box came with no instructions. I looked online, and the only thing on OPT7's website is a wiring diagram/schematic. That's fine. I can figure out how to wire it. But where's the mounting hardware? I don't recall seeing anything on the Amazon listing that suggests one needs to seek out and purchase mounting hardware. I bought the 32" CREE LED Light Bar. It is evident that I'm going to have a small amount of difficulty figuring out how to mount it at each end, because the overhead bars that run from front to rear get in the way. I just wish OPT7 would do some research on different vehicles and suggest certain mounting hardware packages that are required for mounting on certain vehicles. Heck, even merely telling me I had to buy the hardware separately would have been better than being surprised! Just judging form the reviews, however, I see that once the unit is in use it is a good quality light bar. Once I figure out what to do with the mounting problem, perhaps I can change/re-submit this review.10 minutes after writing the previous content in my review (cut and pasted from Amazon product description):"Longer mounting brackets adds ease and clearance to adjusting the light angle".So I guess someone at OPT7 just forgot to add it in the box. I'm pretty ticked though. Oh well. Stuff happens. I'll re-write another review once I get this figured out. Now, in November 2015, I think it's great. I probably whined a little too much before. This light bar is a GREAT addition to my Kawasaki Mule! I figured out how to mount it pretty easily (pipe clamps around the feet, which are clamped to the roll bar, with rubber pads between. The light is quite bright! I completely light up my whole back yard at night. This is a great light bar for Mules, Gators, and other side-by-sides for lighting up the area while gutting a deer, or working a little late in the woods, or anything.

Lights well, hardware low quality, even worse customer support
First off, I bought this light bar to attach to the rollbar on my yamaha yxz1000 utv. I did a lot of research on the item before buying. The first issue I have with this bar are the slider mounts. OPT7's website shows the mounting area for the light to be on the sides of the light bar and not sliders attached to the bottom. I mounted it anyways and it sort of worked out. I used rollbar mounts which did not allow me to angle the light up high enough because of the sliders. I'm looking into other options for mounting the light and I may have to mount it to the roof which I was trying to avoid.Second problem: The plug that comes off the light bar is a male harness fitting. Well the wiring/relay harness that came with the light bar connects to this plug with female spade connectors when it should come with the correct female harness end (see pic). Pretty foolish if you ask me.Third problem: First night out with the bar wired up, everything was good for about 30 minutes. The light was bright as hell even angled down and I was impressed. That is until it started flickering and shut itself off. Now my led light bar is wired into a fuse distribution block and then wired to rocker switches in my center console. So the flickering problem could be a few things but this leads to my 4th and final problem with the light.Fourth problem: OPT7 does not have a support number that you can call. You have to email them from their site and they claim they will respond in less than 24 hours, "most of the time same day." Well I emailed them twice from their website and once directly from my email to theirs and still have not heard back and it is now day 4. Their lack of support alone is going to have me return the item because I don't want to wait 4 or 5 days the next to talk to someone if I happen to have a problem. Not to mention if I have to do a warranty claim, I can imagine that process being slowly similar to what it takes just trying to ask them a simple question.Overall the light did look good, the quality of the housing was good as well. However, the slider mounts and the mounting hardware is low quality as is the provided wiring harness. Customer support is lacking, almost non-existent. If you're a heavy offroader I would pass on this light and go to a more expensive/higher end company.

THIS LIGHT IS INSANELY BRIGHT! I've had 3 different light bars from opt7 and they are all fantastic. I had a 50" c2 on my old silverado above the windshield which was ridiculously bright. Opt7 customer service was good back then when I had connection issues with the wires (my fault, not a defect) none the less I sent it in and they sent me a new one! New truck now, I ordered this 28" to put behind the grill of my silverado mounted in front of the radiator. This light is everything I could ask for. It's so bright I can't even drive with it at night on the roads because it blinds incoming traffic. On the back roads it lights up everything and the flood is so good that it lights up things that are right beside the truck which is weird because it's mounted behind the grill. Never had an issue with fogging or anything like that and also I saw somewhere on here that said the mounts were on the sides, they're not, the mounts are underneath as the picture shows. I've been to car shows before and seen other lights bars on jeeps and such which some of them u can stand in front of and literally stare into them because they aren't bright, not this thing, you can't even look at it when it's on or ur eyes will probly melt. If your looking for a light bar definitely buy this one, or don't, which means more available for me.
