Does what it is designed to do and does it well
Finally an LED macro ring light that does things right. Can be set to trigger off the hotshoe. Power range is sufficient to work within reasonable ISO settings. I owned a Canon RingFlash for several years. I missed it once I went to Micro 4/3 cameras but wasn't ready to purchase another brand of ring flash. My previous experience with LED ring lights was that they were low power and not bright enough to use for some of the things I shot with them. This one puts out enough lumens to make it worth carrying in the bag. Will make the trip to Peru with me for photographing small frogs.

WHAT ?????
I am the type of consumer who likes to read the instructions. Using this product will require me to learn by trying things to see what happens. As an example let's start on the Contents page. "Installation and unloaded of the flash control body" or "The solutions and may occur problem when using". These are not bad because you can kind of get the idea of what was being said, and the NO/OFF switch as a typo. There were other directions that are a complete mystery. I suppose one can suggest that this is "bonus", as a puzzle to be solved. The first thing this manufacturer should do is stop selling their product, remove all Instruction Manuals and destroy them, then correct and print new ones, then reissue the product. This is simply no attention to detail. They seem to have a great idea here, but a rush to get it on the market without checking the final product is disappointing.

true diming
This is a ten light ring of light that truly dims. Not a 69 light that less lights lite up to give the allusion of diming. I've had fun with this flash, nothing professional , just experimenting . People have complained the light ring spins to easy and it does. My fix is 5 second glue that sets with ultra violet light. 4 small drops more or less equally spaced on base and it give just the right friction. With all the adapter rings it fits my nikon and Panasoinic cameras.

Ring Flash with latest LED Technology
This flash stood out from the crowd. It uses the latest LED technology and works well. The flash can be used as a flash up to 1/100. It can be controller to turn on the right side, left side or all the LEDs.Using a 50mm f2 lens at 3 feet, I will able to take a hand held picture quite well.I like the ability to be able to turn on the LEDs continuously. It is especially helpful in dark settings for the autofocus to work on my DSLR.

pretty good
Bought as a gift and they told me it’s not good for short distance lighting but good at medium range.

Love the power for short distances!
So far I've only used this flash for food photography, in which it is very functional. I have not tried this to light faces.

I was skeptical due to the mixed reviews but I'm glad I took the chance because it does a great job! The adapters are plastic but as long as your careful on how you handle your product, you'll never have a problem. I love the light control and and the tinted detachable cover which gives a nice contrast. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product and pricing.
