I have used cartridge for years but I decided to try safety, I got the angle and pressure all wrong and cut myself several times, right before a wedding too. Was smooth when I didn't get a cut. Will jeep trying.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great piece of kit. It is packed so well, although that's an awful lot of cardboard packaging, but it's done well. Smacks of quality.I love the shaver itself, but those blade are sharp. The brush is great and the apron bib completes the package. That said, the bib is better suited for dry shaves. The balms are fragrance free too, which is a bonus.I really like this kit and for just under £20 it's a good buy.

Although I do like my electric shavers they do have a disadvantage when compared to wet shaving. Wet shaving may be a bit inconvenient as it takes more time but a wet shave does get closer to the skin.When using an electric shaver there are always those awkward bits of stubble that the electric shaver fails to cut thus most of the face is smooth but there's always that odd hair or two that suddenly pops out later. Areas such as the corners of the mouth and just below the nostrils take some work with an electric shaver whereas wet shaving gets to those areas easily.So, the electric shaver has it's advantages but so does wet shaving and this is a good product for that purpose.The shaver itself is a classic style shaver that one unscrews the base to open up the blade area. It is so simple and quick to change blades.The most impressive thing I find with this kit is contained in the bottles and jar. The bottles of oil / balm have some natural ingredients in them of which; grape oil, shea butter, aloe leaf, flower extracts are just some of the included ingredients. The same applies with the shaving cream, it too has some natural ingredients in it.Overall this is a good quality item that will leave one's skin nice and smooth with an after shave balm to cool any shave burn. It is a good value item for the overall quality and I can recommend this nice shaving kit.

What a perfect gift for the man in your life that uses natural ingredients but not much scent especially as not everyone likes random scents. I quite liked that it was an old school style razor with shaving cream that you add to the bowl and use the brush ro apply lime they would do I an old school barbers and grooming parlour. Plus plus it's own bib like cape to protect your clothing when doing a full sell groom. Tou have a pre oil to use first, followed by the cream and then the shave itself with an old style razor blade within a metal razor.Very stylish finished in black and a great gift too.
