I think this book was contemporary fiction with romantic elements. The central focus was friendship, finding your way, and then finding love. Also the last 8 or so chapters really cements this argument. At any rate it was an enjoyable read but the first 10 chapters were a slug fest to get through. I definitely kept reading bc this was for book club.CN: breakup, elder illness, divorce, broken engagement, pregnancy, financial manipulation

I finished this book in two days. It’s the perfect, easy summer read with some excellent writing from Amber’s part, I am so looking forward to the next! (If there is one - I hope so). It made me feel a great wave of emotions, I loved the different characters and really resonated with the feisty main character, as a feisty person myself it was great to connect. Well done Amber!

A light read. The characters were very shallow, none particularly interesting or out of the ordinary. The ‘dramas’ were predictable, it felt like the author had used a series of consequences cards when writing this.

Really enjoyable.. what a cute book. Really enjoyed this story. Romantic...young..spontaneous .. Free .....are words that come to mind when reading this. I liked Amber in love island and has book preorderd. I definitely will get next one as well. Ive recommended this book to Few friends that are off on holidays ..x

I’ve been obsessed with Amber since her days on love island so when I heard she was doing a novel I knew I had to get it. I was a bit sceptical as it’s a mills and booms as I’ve never read one before but I found myself encapsulated by the story and I can’t wait for a sequel or something to follow on!

I absolutely love this book couldn’t put it down.Was such a lovely feel good read. I really hope she brings another book was such a great read.I was actually sad to get to the end. Xx
