MY Mask and snorkel - choice of colour - M.Y. British Standard Mask & Snorkel Set With Purge Valve

the mouth piece lets water in so it's pretty useless. i've done my fair share of snorkeling and i know it's a cheap set, but it was useless. the base of the mouth piece is not fully sealed (at least mine wasn't) so as you breathe under water i got 4 breaths before a mouth full of salty water. i persevered for about 20 minutes to check where the water was getting in, but gave up as i realized i could not fix it.

Did the job but the mask was too small for an adult and let in some water. The item itself is well made and is delivered promptly with clear user instructions.

Great service through seller only problem was the masks after snorkelling for about 2 minutes both masks started to leak by the nasal compartment and let water in despite fitting tightly resulting with sea water in eyes and up nose haha, we were tempted to buy a pair of goggles, hold our nose and just use the snorkel in the end.

The mask and snorkel function ok but it tasted of poor rubber and could be smelled around the house. Even wrapped in a polythene bag, the smell of plastic emanated from the bedroom, where it awaits trial on holiday. A further review will be required!.

I was looking for a cheap and cheerful snorkel set for holiday and its just what I wanted. Good quality. Why pay more?

The snorkel mouth piece is too big for a child. The purge valve is poor quality, noisy and lets water in. The curved section easily collapses and causes obvious air turbulence making breathing difficult. The silicone around the mask is hard to touch and is uncomfortable to wear. The adjustable strap is almost impossible to adjust and easily breaks. A very poor quality product. I have now found a good quality product and will have to dispose of this mask!
