Weak, pretty much no flavour.
Obviously opinions vary, some people might really like this coffee. Personally I was extremely disappointed, next to no strength at all, hardly any flavour. When I opened the jar and there was virtually no smell/aroma to it I was hoping that the flavour once brewed would make up for it, sadly not. Doubt I’ll even keep it in a cupboard as an emergency back up, would rather go without until I can get my usual coffee. Sorry if this review is a bit brutal, i just had to be 100% honest.

Truly believable instant coffee!
I'm from America, where instant coffee -- even organic Arabica -- tastes and smells like something you'd clean your hubcaps with. This tastes and smells like actual coffee, delicious coffee -- in lattes, anyway. You have to try it to believe it. I bought it first at Canterbury Whole Foods, now have my English friends send it to me whenever I run out.

Quite tasty for an instant coffee. Fairly strong but not overwhelming like a lot of instant coffees. It may just convince you to give up the bother of ground coffee! It mostly has me!

Delicious and ethical!
Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! And that is just the bonus. I bought this coffee because my concience doesn't allow me to enjoy coffee at the expense of supporting slavery or exploitation in the supply chain. (Did you know there are more slaves in the world today than any other point in history?!) It's not too hard to find fair trade beans or ground coffee, but instant is another story. I searched and searched for fair trade instant coffee and finally came across Clipper. It has exceeded my expectations. I have even served to guests who commented on how delicious it was. I highly recommend this coffee!
