A real project for the long winter nights. Fabulous detail and the usual Tamiya sprue definition and quality. Get the Eduard photo-etch cockpit kit to make it perfect!

as useful with Tamiya the quality is excellent he cost is a little expensive but Tamiya could have offset this by offering the paint to go with it. a little more thought into extras such as set belts, flaps et would have gone a long way

Parts so small really need good magnifier and watchmaking tools. Not fir feint hearted. Yet to complete product. But enjoy frustration of making

a large model of an historic aircraft, very detailed an accurate. W ill make a great model to display. A must item for any model aircraft maker

Ordered on the 2nd May and just arrived ( 14th May ) which is pretty good considering it came all the way from Hong Kong and the price at under £60 incl. postage is more that 40% cheaper than any model shop or other Amazon sellers. It arrived in perfect condition and is exactly the same as you can get in model shops in the UK selling it for £100 or thereabouts. Now comes the enjoyable task of assembling it - should take a few months as I want to make a good job and end up with something to be proud of.

Great detail on this model. I've never done spray painting before but I would highly recommend it for the large size of this model. The price is excellent and delivery was just 7 days. Brilliant service. Definately 5 stars.

Lange gesucht und bei Amazon gefunden!Toller Bausatz mit vielen Details.Ein Muss für jeden der Modellbau liebt.Kann ich zu 100 Prozent empfehlen.Erfordert jedoch eine gewisse Routine und Geduld.

This Tamiya kit was a lot of fun to build, although I would have preferred building the standard Lancaster over the Dam Buster version. Everything fit together nicely and there was plenty enough detail work in the cockpit to keep things interesting. My only complaint was having a devil of a time with the decals. The fuselage letter Group markings I particular kept ripping. I supplemented the kits decals with another set I purchased online. When completed it sits much higher than the B-17s and B-24s I've built. It really is a handsome aircraft.

Awesome Tamiya model.Received from hobby shop vendor in Pennsylvania in exactly the estimated shipping time thru USPS/Canada Post. No delays in Canada Customs or because of Covid. Came from the USA to here in Canada within 10-12 days.I haven’t assembled it yet, it will be a big undertaking probably starting this fall. I did open it to check it out and was amazed by how huge it it at 1/48 scale. I just finished a tamiya 1/48 spitfire in the spring, so a lot of how the parts fit together in the Lanc look a lot like how they are done in the spit kit. I found the spit to be a really great kit that was precision fitted, so I expect this Lanc kit to be the same.
