Great pot, sturdy good size

Well packed and delivered quickly. Nice quality and value. Used for 2 large olive trees, look really good. Neighbours don't realise they're actually plastic.

Always Stewart pots for my plants. Drainage. holes prepared ready and there are so many designs and colours. I’ve just had one sent to my friend to put the climbing Rose in I sent her. Yes Stewart’s are perfect. My garden slabbed and all plants herbs etc in pots.

I was glad to find these relatively affordable and attractive large planters on Prime delivery for Ireland and got them in less than a week. They are reassuringly sturdy but lightweight also. They are more than one thickness of plastic, so probably frost-proof. They have 4 small low feet that lift the base a little off the ground with a small drainage hole in each and it was easy to drill 4 more holes in the base with a battery operated screwdriver and some metal hex base drill bits. I let the upside down base of the pots warm and soften under strong sunlight first which made it easier. My only foible was that the description said they hold 48l each and it took 140 litres of mixed multi-purpose and container compost to fill two of these containers for garden centre pots measuring 20cm diameter and 16cm tall to be placed in. I had to run out to a garden centre to get more compost mid-transplant. I am very happy with the result for my variegated Hosta.

have a rotary washing line in the garden on the slabs with no hole to put it in. It looks great and it's very sturdy for the purpose intended. I will buy another one for the patio umbrella to go in and then cover the concrete with a layer of plumb slate for good effect.

I bought three of these as I have a large garden and love using potted plants to add features in my planting scheme. I specifically chose plastic as I placed these pots in a position to steer cars away from my edging stones in my front driveway and I didn't want my elderly relatives to damage their car paintwork if they accidentally drove into them! They arrived wrapped in paper and each in a suitably sized cardboard box. They resemble the lead finish of the more expensive fibreclay versions and look way more expensive than they are. They certainly do not look plastic. Although the pot itself is lightweight, once mine were planted up they felt very solid and have withstood some very heavy winds. Even so, if I want to move them around in due course I will be able to manage this. There are holes in the bottom which will allow drainage through to my gravel driveway. There was some colour variation between my three pots in that two were quite dark and the other more silver. For me this added to the authenticity as real lead is subject to colour variation. The cris cross design is beautiful and would suit both a contemporary or a traditional home. I would imagine that these pots will last much longer than the more expensive lead or faux lead varieties. In summary, a fantastic product at a fantastic price and I have no hesitation in recommending this planter.
