Very impressed
Wanted a change from our previous set of Denby which was 10+ years old and by now missing half the items. Went looking at other brands which were much cheaper but in a busy family household decided to go for quality rather than price as this stuff lasts. Was worried ordering from Amazon as had heard of some items arriving poorly packed and chipped but as it was Prime and a good price I risked it. Wasn't disappointed. The delivery guy flipped the box on it's side when he dropped it off. Was waiting for the clatter but nothing. The items were heavily bubble wrapped and the box lined with bigger blue air pockets. Each piece was perfect and the set looks great. Was happy to see it was an oatmeal kind of colour rather than cream (as even the Denby rep had called it). Nice, chunky, solid and modern but looks classic on the table for a more formal dinner. Only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars in the price which, even though cheaper on Amazon that Denby itself, is still very high. But still, it's made in the UK, seems to have a good sustainability record and survives for quite some time, so perhaps its just a case of you get what you pay for.

Exactly as described
Bought these to replace the mix of dishes I have used for years, which included 4 Denby dinner plat. The parcel arrived 2 days early, and they must have chopped down 3 trees for the packaging (joking). Not a chip, crack, or scratch on any of the items. Plates and bowls are a great size, as are the mugs. You get what you pay for, and as far as I'm concerned Denby crockery is worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Arrived chipped and can't get replacement
One of the mugs arrived badly chipped. Can't do anything about it as have to return the whole set, which I don't want to do.No option on return to get a replacement.Wouldn't buy again for this reason. It appears from other reviews that it's hit and miss as to whether you get a full set without damage

Poorly packaged
2 of my mugs came with chips in them. I ordered the package in October when I could afford it but it was only opened in December. Now its too late to return.
