I am 3 weeks out from my brachioplasty on both arms. I have tried 3 other compression garments from amazon and all fit terribly and were so uncomfortable. I finally decided to try one more time, went with this one after a suggestion in a support group im in for arm lift surgeries and oh my god, the difference is night and day. These are SO much more comfortable. You have the compression you need but the fabric is also soft and flexible so theyre so much easier to get on. I also had a breast lift at the same time and its been really nice only having to wear this one garment for both. Make sure you go by the measurements. I wear a large shirt, but the size chart said I should wear an XL for this garment. I almost sized up because the others I tried I sized up 2-3 sizes and they were still so tight and uncomfortable I couldnt even pull them on over my incisions. This one is true to the size chart so trust it. Even if you do size up it will probably be fine because of swelling and then you can size down again once youre a few weeks out. I immediately bought a second garment after wearing this one for just one day, thats how much I like it. The ONLY thing I dont like is that I have to wear it inside out so the seams dont rub my incisions, so the hook/latches on the front are also inside out. Fortunately though, they are right in between my breasts and not rubbing, its just awkward hooking them and unhooking them when you take it on and off. But its worth it for the comfort.

This product is a three quarter sleeve which was great towards the end of my recovery. If you are looking for a full sleeve opt for an alternative one. This was comfortable for the days I didn't want to wear a separate bra. It held up from multiple washes on cold and delicate setting. Make sure to either dry on low or more preferably hang dry.

I had upper arm liposuction and have a compression garment from the surgeon for $110. That one is more like a thick satin, and the elastic at the forearm was so tight I had to cut the band. I didn't want to hand wash and wait to dry all the time so I tried these sleeves and another brand to have a back up pair. These sleeves were definitely more comfortable in the chest (not heavy duty support for anyone needing breast surgery support), and a bit more tight in the arms than the other brand. They don't seem to have quite as much compression in the arms as the garment from the doctor, but they serve as a nice stand in while I'm washing and drying the others. What I like most about these sleeve is the breathable fabric and light weight feel. I'm a week past surgery, so these will be fine as stand in during the rest of recovery, but I wouldn't say they have appropriate compression for post arm-surgery within the first week.

I just had a brachioplasty and as a planner aheader, I ordered a couple of these knowing I have to wear them for 4-6 weeks or more. The ONE that the doctor was providing was never gonna cut it. I had them delivered prior to the surgery. Thank God I did - the thing they ordered me is ill-fitting even though custom made (I think they made mistakes in ordering). It was so uncomfortable I was never putting it back on.THESE are comfortable and work just as well. I am 2 days post op and already the bruising is gone and swelling is going down. And I can sleep and move in it, and put it on without help.I wear a lot of shapewear in size medium, so that’s what I got and its perfect. It’s also adjustable. Don’t hesitate!

This is so soft and comfortable but not compression on the sleeves. I wear it w something tighter over it. The arms have seams that are to big. I like that it doesn’t smash my boobs

I love how soft this is and ease of putting on. I could do without the hooks but that is OK. It doesn't cause issues like pilling of my shirts which is a plus. I do wear it inside out so the seams don't embed into my arms.

I was going to use this item as a post op item. I received it use with deodorant stains on the inner arms and stains on the outside back.

I ordered this on the recommendation of my plastic surgeon's nurse for post-brachioplasty. You put it on like a bolero jacket and it stays exactly in place. The perfect amount of compression. Also... with this you don't have to try to put on a bra. Holds everything in place during those early recovery weeks.Can't recommend enough!

I ordered 3 different styles all from Amazon and only from 4+ star ratings. This is the style that worked best for my body. I did return the others. This has a nice stretch and it’s comfortable. You don’t even need to wear a bra with this as its fabric is sturdy enough to hold the girls in place. There’s no jiggly bits on my arms or the under arm area while wearing this one. Makes me feel so much more comfortable and confident when wearing fitted garments as well. If you are concerned about pancake boobs, the design allows room for foam inserts to keep an actual boob shape. I’m normally a 2X and the 2x fit perfect. For reference I’m 5’11 and 200 pounds. Bust circumference 42 inches. Hope this helps.

I'm a UK 10 and order a S, it is a perfect fit. I had surgery under my arm and was having some swelling and discomfort as well as having a frozen shoulder. I have been doing physio and it was much better but ached a lot. I thought i would try this and on the first day I had not aching. I have found if I ware it for a few days them I can leave it off a few days if I need to but honestly it is so compatibly I don't want to not ware it. It fits close so is fine under a blouse or t-shirt. I would definitely recommend giving it a go if you have had surgery or just have aching shoulders.
