Easy to follow plan for kicking the sugar habit!
I read the entire book in almost one setting to see if the plan was doable for me. It is an easy-to-follow plan and the workbook that you download makes it even better. I now plan to take it one day at a time using the workbook. Her suggestions are realistic and she really understands how hard this habit is to break.

Easy and Do-able
This is an good book. It’s easy to read and follow. I liked that there is a accompanying workbook you can download to track your progress. After doing this challenge, I’m definitely more careful about the added sugar in my diet and I’ll probably never go back to the way I was eating before this challenge. If you’ve been thinking about how to reduce your sugar intake, definitely make this book part of your strategy.

Kick the sugar addiction!
This is a great place to start if you are having trouble attaching sugar. For anybody looking to improve their diets, I would suggest this book. This detox is simple to follow and is an easy read. The sugar-related information was really quite helpful. The author offers a practical strategy for gradually minimizing sugar from your diet. I was able to identify some easy changes I could do to get my life started in the correct direction thanks to this book. If you're not ready to entirely give up sugar, this book will help you understand why moderation is so beneficial.

Very Effective Guide
Nutrionists have been scolding Americans for decades about the dangers of sugar, and this book adds to that literature very nicely. Author Siskov, a nutrionist and health coach, offers a carefully researched overview of the dangers of sugar and its prevalence in Western diets - especially the danger of processed foods and the multitude of euphenisms food companies use for various forms of sugar, Her 10-day "challenge" is enhanced by a workbook (available online) and a series of sugar-free recipes (though many are calculated in grams, somewhat impractical for American cooks, and I noted that one calls for caviar!). All in all, still, a very good pratical guide for paring the sugar in your diet.

Short, Sweet (pun intended) and Direct!
We've been told a million times that we need to cut out sugar, but it's hard! Silvana Siskov makes it much easier with the help of this book. It is well organized and intended to reinforce your decision along the way, with a chapter a day for 10 days, as well as a task to complete for each day. Even with all the information that has been out there for years, I learned a few new things. The information is well-presented and motivating but not 'preachy'. You can even receive a free workbook from Silvana to keep yourself focused. Definitely recommend!

A solid introduction and great for the new year
The 10 day sugar detox challenge is a basic look into getting started with breaking up with sugar. It’s widely thought that too much sugar is one of the leading causes of illness including diabetes and obesity. You have probably heard this already but hearing it again particularly in such a concise and well put together short book can be very useful. Sometimes a longer book is more intimidating. Maybe this can be a great start for a wider audience.

Invaluable information ! Amazing read !
Silvana’s book is the one to read if you want to take control of your body and it’s cravings for sugar. It will empower you, is very interesting and is written by the author from personal experience so really resonated with me. It documents her own journey and struggles and it’s a relief to understand that other people struggle daily too with the effects of sugar and it’s long term addiction and effects. It offers careful insight and thoughtful analysis and touches on areas you may not have thought of yourself. It also breaks your journey down into bitesize, step by step daily targets, so you don’t feel overwhelmed, and if you do, it’s easy to step back a day, reducing pressure.I would recommend the book to anyone wanting to learn about and overcome sugar and its effects on the body. For me personally, as a woman who suffers with PCOS, high blood sugar levels and insulin resistance with an unhealthy love of sugar, this has been a wonderful read and a reassuring experience that I am not alone in my battle to overcome this and lead a happy, healthy life.

Wow what an amazing book explained in simple language
Great book which tells you all the pros and cons of sugar and encorages you to start cutting it down. Great explanations on why cutting sugar is beneficial for us. Lots of great tips given! Definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting to make a lifestyle change for good health.

excellent book - detailed and easy to follow
I found this book very easy to follow and the explanations were detailed enough to understand the reasons behind why we love sugar/ how to avoid it/ how to avoid cravings. but it wasn't too technical to make it a chore to read. It also includes some great recipes. Highly recommend this book :-)

Life changing
This book has helped me get control of my diabetes for the first time in years. Book sets things out really easy. With small chapters and daily tasks at the end make it really easy to follow. Also a real eye opener. I didn't realise sugar was hidden in so many foods
