Entertaining
Entertaining age gap romance between Katherine, a violinist for the symphony and Victor, her money grubbing mother’s ex-boyfriend. Katherine had a mad crush on him when she was 15, and had her heart broken when he and her mother split, and he didn’t even say goodbye. When Katherine breaks up with her boy friend of a few years, she goes out with her friend and runs into Victor, who is dazzled by the beauty she now possesses. Thus begins a sizzling forbidden romance between the two.The storyline is predictable when his partner and work staff feel that Katherine is going to be a costly mistake for his business, and her mother objects to their relationship with hateful arguments. Katherine has a hard time convincing Victor that she isn’t after his money, which hurts her deeply. It’s a quick read, with plenty of angst, sexual chemistry and a surprise or two for the readers. The author didn’t flesh out the main characters like I would have liked, but it was the HEA that left me for wanting so much more insight into their future together.

Okay, definitely not an alpha male-contains a lil spoilers
This was an okay book. I liked the story line but the MMC … I’m sorry, but he should have groveled a lot more! He was a complete jerk and barely said anything when he came to apologize after ghosting her. She was the one to lay it all out. He’s a very weak character and by the end of the book, I don’t think he had much character growth. Guess I prefer men in my books, not boys who pretend to be men… especially at his age.

Good quick read
It was good. Loved the characters and the flow was good too. I wish there was more to the ending of the story, the wedding the relationship between mom and daughter and what the baby was... but still a good read and kept my attention.

A different take on May and December.
A well written story but was a difficult story for me. Being a nurse, I've seen too many disastrous relationships involving a young person with abandonment and daddy issues. The sexual side of things was in your face immediately. I understood Victor's fears; but if you lack trust, to keep having the physical side of things equals using the younger person. I had no problem by the end of the story but felt the end was chopped too soon.

Didn't like the MMC
To be honest, I didn't like Vic that well. I felt like he was immature and broken and I don't feel like he redeemed himself. The FMC I felt held a lot of maturity in the way she handled things without retaliation, raising her voice. Making scenes etc. But she also forgave way to quickly. The premise of the storyline is unique however and worth the read.

The book was a drag, the hero was hell bent that who ever loves him, loves him for his money.. The heroine was too easy on him didn't make sense

It’s ok
Im not sure how to feel about this one.I went into this blind, This is a new to me author and it was ok. I think the thing I didn’t mesh with the most was the Characters. I feel like it fell flat in that regard. To me there was no real character development. The issues were glossed over and they were just together. There was no real substance to their relationship and I felt like they both lacked chemistry and deep connection.I think the main issue for me was Victor. I expected him to be more mature considering the age but he acted out immaturely and was more concerned with gossip then his overall feelings towards Kat. It really didn’t seem like I was reading about a grown man. There was also no real depth to his character other than having trust issues. Kat had her moments. I didn’t like how she just forgave Victor without making him really work towards being together, her acceptance screamed desperation and I get it from how she grew up, but her character growth was missing her ultimately loving herself enough to want more than what she was getting, I would have loved to see her stand up for herself in that regard against Victor and have him work towards her forgiveness but there was nothing so it fell flat for me.I liked how she stood up to her mother. But I feel like there was no real resolution there and would love to see that maybe in a part 2? The story itself would have been amazing if those key elements weren’t missing for me but it was ok for what it was. Im curious to see what else the author has to offer so I will still give her work a chance and dive into something else. For now, this is an ok story it lacked depth for me.

Oh boy
This book is just full of toxic people, the first was for 5 years he raised her as his own child in a relationship with her mother , all that came across was he was her dad in the relationship and yes she told him off for treatment of her being a child 🙄 this book is just a full don't bother . I could just keep going on but I just can't be bothered wasting more of my time. I don't know why the author would even think this would be a good story idea much less put it to print.

ending was rushed
The book was so lovely and exciting all the way through and then the last page felt like it was just rushed , no epilogue so you could see what happened a few months later it was just a bit of a let down at the end
