Easy to use! Light weight. I love this straightener. I get the curls from it like I would from a professional salon one but half the price. It has not damaged my hair one bit. I would definitely recommend it.

It heats up quickly, and glides over hair. It didn't take long to switch between temps. It's lightweight and thin. The cord is long, with a swivel at the base of the iron. The cord is lightweight, but to me that makes it feel a bit cheap.

There is no doubt that this hair straightener is a great flat iron, with the ability to also create curls and waves using the same flat iron that you can also use to straighten your hair. The temperature goes up to 450°, which is high, but not uncommon for flat irons.This particular flat iron has Insta-heat technology, to reduce the intensity of heat damage to your hair. You are also able to set the heat setting of your choice, up to 450°.While this is undoubtably a nice flat iron, I can’t get past the purchase point. Being $199.99 for this flat iron seems quite expensive. While there’s no doubt it is a nice flat iron, there are numerous comparable options on the market for far less. For that reason, I have detected a few stars, and would advise consumers to shop around if you’re looking to purchase a new flat iron.

To start off, I was absolutely blown away with the near instant heat up time. It was no sooner than I had plugged it into my wall and picked it up it was already hot which quite surprised me. I've had numerous flat irons in my life from common grocery store purchases to salon grade. This particular model sits somewhere right in the middle. It has salon grade level instant heating, but 450° isn't quite uncommon for hair irons. However, the quality of the model itself feels very flimsy to the hand for the price point, which brings me to a concern. The price point is quite high for a hair iron. While it is indeed nice I wouldn't quite say it's nearly $200 nice. Many of the lower brands could keep up quite easily once they are heated up. To me on a personal and humble level, the redeeming factor for this flat iron is the instant heat, otherwise it's about the same as any other just beneath salon grade flat iron in my humble opinion.

While unboxing the flat iron, it looked promising, especially the alloy mirrored plates that make it look high end- but that's where it ends for me. The price point on this for an iron that has plastic paint chips coming off, the defect in some of the plates that catch and pull my hair when using and the fact that the on/off switch is hard to use as it constantly sticks is a deal breaker for continued use.For a higher end flat iron, I want easy on/off features, smooth use and no chips of paint in my hair when using and especially no pulling. I wouldn't recommend, even for beginners. I have used straighteners all my life for my thin, but fair amount of unruly blonde curly hair, and this is a no for me.

( It has a smooth coated finish that isn’t slippery. Which allows you to have a better control while using them. )Although this straightener is on the higher end in price…. I THINK THAT IT IS A WONDERFUL INVESTMENT TO HAVE A PRODUCT THAT CAN HELP MAINTAIN GOOD HEALTHY HAIR CARE.I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

It is not a fancy iron with a fancy display! But it will make your hair last so long! I don't know how to explain but it delivers consistently smooth and sleek results. For those seeking a reliable and efficient flat iron that delivers salon-quality results, this iron is the perfect choice. Love making curls with it too!
