Good for green fingers
Bought as a gift for my dad. Unfortunately it was faulty when it arrived as the digital display wasn’t working. Contacted the sellers who offered a refund or replacement. I got a replacement which works perfectly. Would recommend.

Digital max / min thermometer
Generally quite pleased with the thermometer, seems to work well. Only thing is, I should have studied the picture harder, as I was under the impression that the liquid gauge was a max/min thermometer too, as was my old one, but it is not - it just shows the same temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit. But overall, serves its purpose.

Minor niggle otherwise does the job
Clear readout both on the mercury tube and the digital. Simple pushbutton reset for high low digital readout.. I suspect digital and Mercury readouts misaligned by about 1.5 degrees. Other than that minor niggle it is a tidy looking thermometer.

Clear to read thermometer
Good clear to read thermometer. Some discrepancy between the mercury reading and digital reading by a significant number of degrees. This is currently under query. I have no reason to believe this will not be satisfactorily resolved

Faulty Display But Item Replaced
The LCD display is faulty - part of each digit is missing. Impossible to read. Returned.Update: Full marks to Greenhouse People who dispatched a new thermometer immediately. This one works perfectly. Great customer service.

Inaccurate - out by about 1.5 degrees. Having bought two thermometers by different makers (one for inside a greenhouse, the other external) I compared them with each other for a few days in a range of temperatures. There was a difference of almost two degrees. A third, more expensive thermometer/hygrometer was purchased winkle out the bad guy. This one did not get sent back as I know now to just 'knock off' a few degrees from its reading. You would think that one of the things you could rely upon in this world would be a humble thermometer. It seems maybe not.
