You get used to things tasting a little bit different without regular flour and sugar and so I think these do very well. Lovely taste of ginger and spices, texture is good (be sure to let them cool completely before tasting). I’ve missed biscuits in the morning with my tea and these hit the spot while following a low carb diet.

Despite being a little pricey we were very pleased with this prpduct. It was easy to make, tasted delicious and my type 1 diabetic granddaughter was able to enjoy these biscuits with us.

Although instructions followed it took a lot longer to bake than the packet advised and the middle remained soft and stodgy.

I couldn’t wait to try this mix as it’s the only Groovy Keto mix I haven’t tried yet. They were very easy to make and tasted delicious. The smell reminded me of Christmas. Will be ordering again.

The media could not be loaded. I follow a keto diet that to be honest, I loathe, but it’s the best diet for lipodema. I’ve tried many different keto mixes and spent an absolute kings ransom on ready made keto treats… none of them were great. Finding a decent biscuit to have with a cuppa has been my mission and after trying out this mix, I think I’ve found the best I’m gonna get! The mix is so easy to prepare, just add an egg and melted butter (I just used spreadable lurpak straight from the fridge as I’ve scrambled the egg before when I’ve added melted butter) a quick mix round with a spoon and the mixture was ready to be rolled out. You roll it out between two pieces of grease proof paper. It was easy to cut out (I just used an upturned glass) and then cook for 10-12 mins. I made 24 biscuits from this packet. They come out of the oven soft and took a few hours to harden up. I tried both thin and fat thickness biscuits and was surprised that the thicker biscuits actually had more crunch! Anyone familiar with keto biscuits will know that it’s impossible to get that normal biscuity crunch but these aren’t half bad. They have the same crunch as a traditional biscuit that has perhaps been left out over night, so lacks the sharp crispness but is still crunchy. The usual cold aftertaste that fellow keto dieters will acknowledge, is all but absent, theres just a mild coolness that’s hardly noticeable. As for the flavour, these have just about the right sweetness with a mild gingerness. They are tasty and curb my sweet cravings. I’m going to buy more packets and try adding a bit more ginger for that extra kick. Finally a great keto biscuit that’s a much welcome addition to my life.
