Got it for my sister and she loved it

There are lots of book versions of this story book / rhyme / song, and this is a particularly charming one. The illustrations are bold, colourful and interesting with lots of extra details such as insects, frogs, and the hungry looking fish in the water and the fox watching the little ducks swimming by, all things that add to the mystery of the story. The wording of the rhyme/song is very slightly different from what I learned as a child, but it doesn't alter the story line. A delightful quality book that is just the right size for a child's hands or book shelf.

This is a lovely book to read to a young child and also to sing the song while turning the pages. There are lots of things to talk about, to learn how to count, holes to see bits that are on the next page and to stimulate story telling. Numbers, names of insects, animals and the sounds they make all help little minds to expand.

Thought the book would be a bit bigger but doesnt matter too much, really cute book and good quality.

My children love this book and CD. They can sit and listen on their own, or we can read and sing together. The CD includes a track with singing and without, so the kids can also sing it by themselves or I can sing it for them. A favorite with my 2 and 4 year olds.

I bought this book for my 8 month old son and he loves it. The pictures are animated and with bright colours and my son particularly likes poking his finger through the holes and turning the pages. I often see him sitting quietly in his playpen looking at the pictures which is very unlike him with other toys!

I bought this along with Ten Little Monkeys and Wheels On The Bus. My 4 month old is attending Tiny Talk and these 3 books cover some of the songs we sign to, so will prove to be great aids. They have a lovely feature where part if the picture from one page is carried on to the next and each page has lots of things going on to be able to talk about as you sing your way through. Bright colours and great illustrations.
