Hart Of Dixie: The Complete Series [DVD] [2011] [2015]

It's so hard to find a good silly not serious show. Far too many shows these days are depressing and dark both in the story line and the look of the show. Hart of Dixie looks so lovely and bright and colourful, a big difference to the winter we are experiencing at the moment, it seems to be dark when I go to work and the sun sets just after I get home! I watched this show when it first came out and it was just so nice to rewatch it now again as I had forgotten a lot that had happened and I had certainly forgotten how much I shipped a certain couple on it (I won't spoil it for anyone😉) and how much I rooted for everyone in their own story lines. I also found buying the DVD set a lot cheaper than trying to buy the digital copies online so there's that too! 😊

One would expect that surgeons,doctors, lawyers and mayors would be a little bit more mature than the ones shown in the HART OF DIXIE .However, in bed because of a broken leg, I saw all 4 seasons and enjoyed them . The small town of Bluebell remains beautiful, and every one lives happily ever after at the end of the fourth season. Altogether it is a pleasant series, funny sometimes, romantic most of the times , and a great change from all these killings, blood, cruelty and cheating that we are used lately.

I bought this to cheer up a friend at Christmas. Whether you need cheering up or not, the mad-cap adventures and fantastic fashion of Rachel Bilson in the magical town of Bluebell, Alabama will bring a smile to your face. Crazy, lovable characters and handsome love-interests are fun to watch. Look out for a guest appearance from the excellent Jamestown Revival in the local bar, the Rammer Jammer. Most of all... enjoy finding out who Dr Hart ends up with!

We used to watch this on the TV then it was taken off and we never got to finish seeing it hence the box set. We watched it and got to thoroughly enjoy it all over again! If you are a fan of American sit-coms you will love this. It is unbelievably twee but completely harmless viewing - an absolute delight. We want to move to Bluebell! Yes, we know it's a fictional place but what the heck, we'd vote for Lavon as Mayor for sure!

If you loved Gilmore Girls, chances are you will love Hart Of Dixie too, they both have the same kind of small town feel with some relationships you will care about, not to mention some humour as well. It's an easy watch and having all 4 seasons in one box is a bonus as far as I'm concerned. Never saw it when it was on the tv but I am glad I have found it now.

It's an 'easy watchin' pasttime!Characters are loveable and they grow on you!And sometimes you just can't believe the twists the episodes take, while you go no, no,no.So nothing too dramatic, too romantic or too funny! Just the right kind if right for an evening in the couch!

Brought this as was looking for a series to fill the time. Series 2 is my least favorite one. Characters and stories are very good.I would say give it a try if you are looking for something new to watch. X

I loved Hart of Dixie when it was shown on tv as it was light hearted and touching in places with comedy, I've been looking out for Season 3 and 4 to be shown on tv but have got tired of waiting, hence why I have treated myself to the complete box set. I am currently working through series one again and I can't wait to watch the others.
