Moderately salty and kind of seaweedy - Best for dry dishes
As the name suggests, this is simply salt and seaweed, it goes well on eggs, and all kinds of savoury dishes. It is a potential substitute for normal iodised salt, as the seaweed contains a natural source of iodine. It doesn't go very well in more watery/liquid dishes, as the seaweed odour and taste can leech out and it's not that pleasant. So I would stick to dry dishes where it doesn't get wet, as you don't taste the seaweed. The jar contains a lot and it would last you several months based on useage.

Good taste
It has the taste I'd expect from a quality sea salt but only half the salt. Ideal if you tend to over-season or need/want to cut down on your daily salt intake.

Like A Culinary Trip To The Beach - Very Tasty & Unique Sea Salt Option
This arrives in a glass, shaker style jar with a perforated lid to shake the salt onto your food. I do think it's expensive (the only reason I knocked off a star), especially considering other sea salt options available. But they don't tend to have seaweed particles and if the price is not an issue for you, then I think this is very good. However, smelling the contents directly had mixed results in my house. The smell is one of an earthy beach sand and seaweed. I thought it was OK, but my wife (who actually loves the beach normally), thought it smelt absolutely disgusting - not a good start then for her.Shaking some onto my lunch, the sea salt and seaweed speckles is great. There is a pure salt taste and that earthy beach sand smell wasn't present. I really liked it. Unfortunately because of that initial smell, my wife refused to even try it on her food. That's her loss, and hopefully she'll come round because the taste is great and as it's approximately half the salt content, it's better for you too.

Like salt only better for you
I have used a variety of salts over the years but this by far is my favourite, the only way I can describe it is salt with a boost, you can't detect any seaweed in the taste at all so no worries there but this does seem like a really good salt and it really enhances a dish, highly recommend

This is a good way to try and cut down on your salt consumption, it's half and half milled up seaweed and salt. Use it in cooking or as a salty sprinkle. It's very nice indeed!
