I've never really thought about tampons much before to be honest. I bought the Playtex, knew enough to not get the fragrance type due to extra chemicals but never thought about the actual cotton part and what it contains. After switching over my cleaners and detergents to natural and organic I was reading an article about the household items you should use that are organic and natural. Tampons was listed high as one to switch. So I researched and read reviews and gave this brand a try.First off the applicator is cardboard but has a Coating that makes it easier to insert. (Not like the cardboard ones that the school gives out if you need one--prison tampons as my 16 yo daughter calls them!). It does take some flexibility and ingenuity to get the tampon out after insertion. Luckily I read reviews and knew to push it up slightly before hand. Even then it does take holding on to both the top part and the insertion stick to make it work (for me!) and have it land where it belongs.So a little extra stretching for the betterment of your body! Overall I would purchase these again and recommend them to those looking for a better way to take care of your period without all the toxins.

I just switched to organic tampons. Unable to find them locally, I started ordering them. I was a touch leary; I have always stuck to one brand, because all other brands leaked, or were uncomfortable. These were great! They did not leak, which is miracle. They were comfortable and easy to use. A few of the reviews complained about the applicator being difficult. I don' t find them to be. I did figure out with other products, that if I twisted the applicator and pushed up on it just a little before application, they were easy to use. A fair trade for an organic product. It is no big deal, really and only adds a second or two to the process. I am a convert!! And price wise, organic is a little more expensive, but I also found a 3 pack of these 16 count boxes at a price that is actually cheaper per box than my old chemicalized tampons. Yay!

These are my absolute favorite organic tampons! When I first made the switch from the regular chlorine & pesticide filled tampons from the drugstore, my biggest fear was that I was so accustomed to plastic applicators! However the card board applicators in these work great & I've never had a problem with them. They do their job well, but aren't extra large like most super tampons are. I have no complaints with these & they will be the only tampons I buy from now on! So please don't discontinue them Natracare!

I went from having such bad cramps EVERY month because I was using traditional products that are laced with chlorine, to having NO cramps at all while using this product.I cannot believe I used to subject myself to those old products which are terrible for you and would cause me to suffer so much when all I had to do was use something like this and be pain free. Women really need to know the effects that chlorine laced products have on your body...Google it, then buy this and live pain free! Wish I would have known sooner, but live and learn.

I am really pleased with the Natracare line of feminine products. I find that my flow is not as heavy & my period is not as long with the 100% cotton tampons as opposed to conventional tampons and now this is all I use unless I find myself in an emergency situation with no other option. These work just as well as conventional tampons without the rayon and I highly recommend them. Definitely check around for prices as you can get some deals by buying in bulk.

I wanted something natural and I TRIED to use these, however:The applicator is pretty much worthless. For every tampon I'm able to use, I waste at least one other trying to make it work. The cardboard applicator is super slippery--there is no grip. The only way I have been able to use, is to push the tampon part of the way out and then insert. Ouch. Not so smooth at that point. About an hour or so later (or if I have to sneeze or cough), it dislodges and starts leaking.I'm really disappointed because I really wanted something made out of organic cotton, sans cancer-causing chemicals for this use. I dislike the use of plastic as much as the next person, but these would really benefit from a small, plastic applicator so that they can be properly inserted.I'll have to look elsewhere since I need something that I can depend on while I'm working as a photographer. It would be a pain to have an accident during a job.

I had no problems with this product. It is a little harder to insert than the plastic applicators on other name brand products, but that is a small trade off for getting an organic tampon without the chemicals. As far as absorbency, I had no problems with leakage. I will continue to use these.

Natracare brand definitely has the best organic tampons out there. Does not disappoint and does not make mood swings like any of the chemical tampons like Tampax etc does. Always the best choice.

Non sono per niente funzionali all'utilizzo. L'applicatore di cartoncino non scorre per inserire il tampone. Quindi il tampone risulta inutilizzabile!

100% coton : je ne peux que recommandé ! Bien mieux que tout les autres concurrents qui vende des tampons pas que avec du coton et du coton avec des pesticides et compagnie.Ces tampons sont à un mrix abordable et de qualité : tellement qu'on ne rend pas compte que c'est une autre marque.Bref foncez !

Not bleach organic cotton. The only one I use for many years. Highly recommended

Would recommend that all women make the switch to safe cotton products! Very Pleased with this product and the price was reasonable.
