A drawplate costs around 30 to 40 euros/pounds so I didn't expect this item to match that kind of quality. It looks like it was hand drilled since the holes don't actually match up along a straight line.However, I found this drawplate to the better than the square one. At least the holes are round.The size scale is a bit odd. After the first line I couldn't tell if you're supposed to go from left to right or top to bottom. The holes on the left side of the third line start out much larger than the ones on the right side of the second line.Also, there isn't much precision in the gradation. Some holes that should be larger than the next one are actually smaller, so it may be a bit of a challenge to reduce wire to certain sizes. I expect this changes from one drawplate to the next.I can't really afford the more expensive drawplates right now and this one will do just fine for reducing wire in a pinch. The drawplate itself seems sturdy enough and it's an extremely useful tool to have if you work with wire.
