I liked the author's first book purchased "How To Play Acoustic Guitar: The Ultimate Beginner Acoustic Guitar Book" and decided to try this one as well to expand my skill set.Great tips.Great layout.Great support.Simple and easy.Waiting for Pauric Mather's "Barre Chords on Guitar" book which I just order since his other two books have worked well for me.

I like this guitar book it sets out the finger position with photos well and gives three lines of easy descriptions. Any one could follow this book.

Chords are shown using tabs + photo of finger placements on the strings. Ideal for beginners who want to learn quitar chords. Also a good tool for those of us returning to music after some time... A must have !

One example is the G chord shown in this book. It’s totally not what a G chord looks like to my mind or the way it’s been played for decades. The rest is a waste of money. Way better to get Mel Bays guitar chords for 1/2 the cost. I bought four chord books now including this one and still Mel Bays is totally useful and simple.

Thank you so much for a truly awesome book. I’ve been playing guitar (badly) for 25 years. But this is the best explained chord book I’ve ever seen. Also full of wonderful, simple playing techniques. My chords sound much better now, and many of my chord changes are faster too!

Covers the key chords. Nothing else of note in the book ...not even methods for speeding up chord changes. Very disappointed. Way better books around - there really are. Don.t understand the review levels in general. Sorry.
