MODEL STEAM ENGINES MAKING FOR BEGINNERS: The Pictorial Step by Step Guide on Building and Construction of Simple and Cheap Model Steam Engines from Scratch

Nothing to do with steam, model is made with wood

The picture on this leaflet (it's not really a book) and its title are totally misleading - only one engine is covered and no steam is involved. Anyone interested in model steam will be seriously disappointed and should look elsewhere for guidance (try Stan Bray or Tubal Cain). Had I not received this booklet as a gift, I would have returned it to Amazon for a refund.

As you can see in the picture, the model "steam engine" built in the book is obviously not the one pictured on the cover and not even a steam engine at all. It's just a compressed air powered depiction of how a basic steam engine works. You can find things like this for free on the internet. I'd give it zero stars if I could. I threw it in the garbage because it wasn't worthy of bookshelf space.

Contrairement au titre et à la photo de la couverture du livre, il ne s'agit pas d'un moteur à vapeur en cuivre et en laiton. En réalité il détaille la construction d'un moteur oscillant simple effet en bois, qui fonctionne avec de l'air comprimé. Très déçu.

Makes me suspicious of any self published books on Amazon.
