I bought some Mason jars to use to store kitchen goods, so naturally Amazon started showing me all things Mason jars.One of the things that popped up was these fermentation weights, which I hadn't even known was a thing. But, I have been looking for weights to hold down my pattern pieces while I'm cutting them out, so I ordered this set. They are really nice and add class to my pattern making. They have a handle in the middle so I can really slide them around without disrupting the pattern.They come in a really cool storage box.I'm buying some for my sewing friends, lol

These can be boiled. Just need to raise the temp slowly and uniformly or they will crack. i've only used them once. They worked fine for me. Price was good and came with a nice box to store them when not in use.

These glass weights provide a super snug and tight fit across Ball wide mouth jars,! which is ideal if you want to maximize for as much of the contents to be kept submerged. I have another set of weights from a different brand and these are slightly wider and thus better. Also these are packed realllly well in a fancy heavy duty paper box + foam padding that easily doubled as a storage holder. Construction is solid and the tops are easy to grab. Huge huge fan of these and you can’t beat the price either

I love these weights especially for fermenting! The weights make fermenting a breeze. I don't have to worry about anything floating above my liquid. The weights are very easy to clean, have a center piece to make removing them from the jar no problem. The weights came beautifully boxed and can be stored in the box when not in use. I would not hesitate to buy the weights again and recommend them to family and friends.

The best feature of these weights is the little handle is tapered so you can easily grip them when removing. I would definitely buy these again if ever necessary.

Tested this and it immediately got stuck. This should have been obvious that glass in glass is a bad idea. But I thought they had somehow designed it intelligently. Nope.

Ich habe diese Glasgewichte gekauft, um meine Schnitte beim Zuschneiden von Stoffen zu beschweren. Klappt prima, da die Rückseite glattes Glas ist. Die regulären Schnittgewichte sind mir meistens zu klein und zu leicht; diese Glasgewichte wiegen in etwa 200 gr. und eignen sich dafür hervorragend. Das Glas ist massiv und haltbar; geht also auch nicht so schnell zu Bruch. Kann ich empfehlen :)

Très utile pour la lactofermentation, permet d'éviter la remontée des aliments au dessus du liquide, avant et après l'ouverture. Ces modeles ont un bon poids, et devraient durer. Le rapport qualité prix est interressant par rapport à ce que j'ai vu ailleurs. Mais ce qui est vrai un jour ne l'est pas forcément le lendemain, alors vérifier pour le prix....
