I bought this Groov-e Sounder for use with our kitchen TV and for it's size and price, I am pleasantly surprised by both the build and sound quality.It fits neatly below our TV and using the supplied optical cable gives a massive improvement in audio. The remote works from any position in the room and gives a number of options for EQ - Voice, Music, Movie - as well as volume, input selection and track control.The bass is absolutely fine and there's no audio distortion at high volumes. We prefer the Movie mode and find it's perfect adequate for all our viewing. When the soundbar is turned off, it retains your settings when turned back on. The instructions are clear and well written.Bluetooth: Connected immediately with my iPhone with playback slightly volume is lower than the TV but easily rectified by turning the volume up a couple of notches.Lastly, the only hiccup was that initially it would not play TV audio from FreeView HD channels (the rest were fine). The solution is to go to your TV Audio settings and change the audio output from Dolby to PMA. Solved. Some people say "...it won't work with my TV..." and the Groov-e really should add this solution to their instructions in my opinion.I can happily recommend - providing expectations are managed. In a large room for gaming and movies it may not have the grunt that you want - in which case spend more money. Otherwise, this is fantastic value for a better than expected improvement on TV-only audio.

Provided depth to the sound quality of our Samsung tv. Super easy to connect on Bluetooth. Somehow I haven't managed to increase the volume level up a certain point but I'd definitely says it does the job. If you're looking for more aggressive output, then it would be wise to look for other options.

It was cheap. It functions reasonably well and has good clear sound, volume levels reasonable. Not a tinny sound, but definitely lacks any kind of bass. The TV itself has better bass tone than this sound bar. Very easy to set up and use, I have it connected through the optical cable, which was immediately accepted by the TV as an alternative sound output. The start up sound and shut down sound exceptionally loud and seems to be no way of quieting it down. Would have given it 3 stars but its ease of use and set up may just be the thing for some people.

Was never expecting a super woofer experience, so the sound is k for what I expected, bit disappointed only got a cheap optical cable that didn’t connect well to the tv or sound bar, so had to buy another, emailed info address on booklet and got no response. Was easy to set up, blue tooth works fine from prime stick.

Such a great speaker and very premium sounding at an excellent price. The base is excellent but it would be better if you could change the equaliser yourself rather than 3 set sound modes. The base is quite powerful even at 10. But I love it! I'm just conscious of my neighbour upstairs who already complained once & though I was practicing a keyboard! 😅

Its great, can find no fault with the sound on this thing, amazing for the price.Great sound, Treble and Bass.Good design and attachment ports.Drawback, as others have said, you cant really see the display as its only 2 characters, so AUX is AU and so forth.Oh and the remote is bigger than it should be. :)

When you first turn this on, a deafening bleeping sound is audible. I was told by the company that it was a general fault and they sent me a firmware update for the sound bar which made it better. Note that to load the firmware, you need a USB port on the TV and a blank memory stick to load the firmware from the stick to the soundbar. The memory stick must be blank and containing just the firmware update. When I contacted the company, they were very quick to resolve my issue. All in all, a good buy for what it is. The only let down is needing a manual firmware update. That might prove tricky for some people to resolve, that aren't technical.

Bought a new TV recently and wanted an upgrade from the telly speakers. Wasn't too bothered about a home cinema sound system, so took a chance with this Soundbar! Decent sound quality, and certainly an improvement on normal TV speakers, easy to assemble and at a good price! As long as you don't have unreal expectations, this is a good bit of kit, if you just want an improvement on sound!
