After undergoing a foot operation that kept me indoors for quite a while, I wasnt gettingenough sunlight.Thought it was advisable to take a vitamin D supplement.These are ideal.

The 60 Etanics Vitamin D3 K2 MK7 Tablets arrive in a large recyclable plastic bottle (PET 01). The tablets fill about 1/10 of the bottle - so there is a significant waste of space (see photo).Printed on the bottle is a confirmation that the product is manufactured according to good manufacturing practice - which is important to ensure the product's quality.I believe that in the UK especially over winter much of the population will benefit from the addition of vitamin D3. This is because you need sunlight for the active ingredient to form from the vitamin D precursors found in the diet. Even in sunny climes such as Australia it research has found that up to 30% of the population have low Vitamin D levels in their blood - so it is likely in the UK to be a higher proportion of the population will require a vitamin D supplement. However equally true is that we don’t really know what dose of vitamin D will benefit an individual - so it is a compromise. Some people in research have taken 4000 IU and seem fine, the UK government advises 400 IU, the USA government 800 IU - with this level of uncertainty I think that Etanics’ dose of 1000 IU seems a sensible compromise. If you think it is too low you can always take 2 tabs.Vitamin K2 is a fairly new discovery and we are still learning. It is present in meat as MK-4 but this version does not have a good bioavailability or as MK-7 from fermentation. In the case of the Etanics product, I guess from the fermentation of soya. Again we don’t really know as yet the ideal dose and if you eat a lot of fermentation products you may not need the supplement - but in the UK this is unusual. Vit K2 is important for calcium transfer to bone and may also protect the arteries from calcium deposition so it is an important product. The dose of 100 micrograms seems fine and is lower than some fermented food.The excipients in this product are standard but there does not appear to be any MCT or coconut oil which is an important additive as these are fat-soluble vitamins. Therefore I would suggest that you take these with meals to enhance the possibility of absorption.The expiry date was good.Overall a good product that, as it is GMP manufactured and at these doses, I would be happy to take.But Etanics please do something about your absurd packaging

The Etanics Vitamin D3 K2 MK7 Tablets were supplied in a branded green bottle with a gold screw cap whose seal had to be broken to access the contents. These tables are a combination of Vitamin K2-MK7 which helps maintain healthy bones and Vitamin D3 aids the normal function of the immune system. The primary reason for taking these tablets is that during winter time in the UK we do not get much exposure to sunshine which would provide the natural variants of D3 on the skin, and we should supplement this especially in the light of recent medical findings regarding the pandemic.The tablets are easy to take, 60 in a bottle renders a 2 months supply, I have found no after taste issues with taking them and no after effects. At the price I believe them to be good value for money.

I have been pleased to sample and test these Vitamin D3 K2 MK7 tablets over ten days.They are in a recyclable small bottle-so a tick for that-and are easy to consume. The health benefitsof appropriate supplements are well known. I have taken them for a long period of time and I cantestify -they work.I have taken Vitamin D in the past but not this type which from my research is far better in that itis more easily absorbed by the body. Certainly in the UK, increasing Vitamin D is good due to ourdistinct lack of sunlight during winter months.As you get older you definitely need supplements to a healthy diet and this is particularly good forbones, teeth and the enhancement of the immune system.There is approximately two months supply and is a worthwhile investment for your health.

Athough its slightly less important at this time of year D3 is still very important, British summer time is still cold, grey and wet more often than not. The pills are a nice size and easy to swallow and it seems to keep my mood up which is an added bonus.

I haven't been using these particularly long so I am not sure if they are working in the way that they are meant to be but I do seem to feel a bit more awake and better in myself. They are really easy to swallow just like any other tablet and they do not taste particularly bad. They are great value for money as you get 1000 tablets for very little amounts of money. I will be buying more when these have finished in about 3 years time.

With the way UK weather is and the lack of sun, you need to have vitamin D to top up on sunshine lost. The mini tablets are so small that I can swallow them easily.Two vitamins in a 1 capsule. Great.Vegetarian.The high dosage of Vitamin D3 1000IU is great.Why do I take D3 K2? I work a lot every day, too much, and I'm getting tired by end of the week, physically and mentally. With the vitamin D3 I give my body back power and the K2 prevents the calcification and thus I prevent false calcium deposits.I take them through the whole year, because even in summer I'm feeling tired, sad and sometimes even depressed due to stress. My quality of life has improved significantly since I take these vitamins. I recommend taking these vitamins in this combination D3 + K2.

Love these tablets. You get the strong dose of both vit K and D which is a perfect combination. I take it everyday, two pills over the winter and autumn and one in the summertime. They are easy to swallow and you get lots of them, so I defeinitely believe they are worth their price. 5/5
