If you're reading this review, you're one of two customers. Customer #1 is looking for a set of steak knives for their own kitchen. Customer #2 is looking to gift someone else a set of steak knives. Let me break down who should buy these knives, and who should consider a different set.If you're shopping for someone else, this isn't a bad set to get. Mostly because the knives are very attractive looking. And with the way they're packaged, they're highly giftable. If someone's into stylish looking knives and silverware, they'll appreciate this set. So they'd probably be worth ordering.If you're shopping for yourself, I'd consider another set of steak knives. Unless you simply love the way these look a great deal. My main reason why is the type of steel used. It's 3cr14 steel, which is an average-carbon, average chromium composition for kitchen knives. So it's decent at corrosion resistance, they won't rust as quickly as cheaper steak knives. But it's still a budget steel, it's not high-end at all. Which brings me to one other thing worth mentioning....For reasons I don't understand, the seller actually lists two completely different types of steel, as far as what the knives are made from. Most of the written description mentions 3cr14 steel. Yet one of the product photos clearly states that the knives are made from 7cr17mov steel. Should that matter? Actually, it matters a lot. 7cr17mov has twice as much carbon as 3cr14. It also has a slightly higher chromium composition, which makes it more resistant to rusting than 3cr14. 7cr17mov contains molybdenum and nitrogen, which increase strength and edge retention, respectively. 3cr14 contains neither of those in its makeup. So I have to take a star from my rating for these knives, because the seller lists two totally different steel types as what the knives are made from.So in conclusion... These might be worth buying as a gift for someone else. Because of the style, and they're better than most cheap steak knives you'll come across at Walmart. Plus the packaging is nice. If you're buying steak knives for yourself, I'd say look at some made from higher quality steel. Unless you just so happen to like the aesthetics of these knives.

These knives are actually REALLY nice, and at this price point you absolutely should buy a set of two. I just ordered MIL her own set because she liked mine so much!
