I bought this for my kitchen and I also bought a second one for my office. For its size it produces a lot of heat and at 500w only costs men16p and hour which is better than firing up the gas boiler just for one room. The button on the front is like a thermostat and turns the heater on and off as the heat reaches a certain level. There are no numbers round the button but if you have a thermometer nearby you can kinda work out when it’s going to turn off and set it accordingly. Overall I’m pleased with this heater. It’s simple and easy to move around. The wire is super thick which can restrict a little the positioning of the heater as it tends to pull the heater in another direction but overall I like this item and have bought 4 of these in total.

Ideal for a small office, provides sufficient heating.

Took this away in my campervan a few weeks ago when it was dropping to 8 degrees overnight. It ran on the thermostat all night, switching on about every 30 minutes. Kicks out a lot of heat for it's size and not too noisy. Small enough to fit on my counter, and kept my comfortable for the week I was away, really good value. Just switch on, set the dial and that's it.

I bought this for my shed / Art studio. Unfortunately I didn't open the box for some time, as I was busy insulating, lining and painting the shed. If I had opened the box sooner, I would certainly have returned this item (But the return window has passed). When first switched on, an LED on the thermostat knob lights up, but after a couple of minutes goes out (and the room certainly has not come up to max temperature), and there is no discernable heat from the device. I know it is only 500 Watts, but I would have expected to feel some heat, if I put my hand near to it.

I bought this hoping to use it in my campervan, but sceptical about the wattage.Unpacked it, read the instructions and tested it..... for such a small heater it kicks out some great heat. The best thing is that it doesn't eat electricity.... bish bash bosh... sorted

Does a good job in a confined space, heats my desk area well. I purchased a bigger heater prior to this one which was 2kw and twice the cost, it was rubbish and didn't have the capability to cut down the energy consumption. This little heater is 500w and does a better job at a much lower cost. I would have rated it 5 star other than the power cord being too big for the lightweight heater making it difficult to get it pointing in the right direction at times.But its good value and heats a smaller area well.
