Works like a charm.
There are lots of little screws to remove and things to monkey with to replace this trigger. Watch the how to video(youtube) before attempting. It'll help a lot.

Description was accurate and fit our Dyson.
Trigger is much more sturdier than the original. After replacing the trigger our Dyson works again! Glad we didn't have to scrap our vacuum simply due to a trigger issue.

A promising solution
First off, Dyson vacuums are overpriced plastic garbage. Don’t buy one. Nonetheless, I installed the new trigger last weekend and at first glance it seems like a promising solution. Note the thicker “arm” in the photo that should prevent it from breaking as a result of normal and gentle use. Time will tell.
