Good motor strength, easy calibration and balancing process, feels well built
Im using nikon z50 with standard kit lens and this gimbal works perfectly with it. Very stable, good motor strength, easy calibration process and easy to balance. The only thing i don't like about the gimbal is the mount that you attach at the bottom of the camera. Nikon z50 has a display that flips and in order for you to put the mount, the little bit of plastic that keeps the mount straight goes under the screen of camera so you cant close the screen properly. It is a bit ajar. though you can buy a cheap camera mount compatible with the gimbal and this resolves the issue Otherwise very happy with the purchase. Its not light as you might think (because its mini) but definitely not heavy. I found the product a bit expensive but You get what you pay for as I bought another gimbal over this initially as it was half the price of dji gimbal but I returned it as not serving its purpose and it feels very flimsy. So I bought the dji rs3 mini and returned the other one. Im now very happy with my set-up.

Great gimbal, OUTSTANDING service!
The media could not be loaded. If you’re on the fence about buying a the RSC2 gimbal from DJI, let me tell you – you can go ahead right now. And for two key reasons. First it delivers great footage. I’ve used it over the last 3 years to record silky smooth footage of the GB Head Table Tennis Coach, Alan Cooke, at a summer training camp. And I took it on safari recently to Tanzania where my tracking shots kept the horizon unbelievably level even when the Toyota Landcruiser was rocking and rolling like it was on the high seas. The second reason you should be reassured about buying from DJI? Gotta tell you its service and support is absolutely out of this world. I have never had such great service, with any product, from any global supplier. Full stop. During the safari I lost a screw from the roll axis of the gimbal. Didn’t notice. Lost on the floor somewhere. Came home, went online, got into chat with Oliver, 8 hours round the world in China. Oliver asked me to send a picture of where the screw sat, so I did. He contacted the Europe service centre who sent me a replacement screw. Just days later. I was just hoping for a part number so I could find a replacement myself. But I got a new screw, the exact right one.But the story – and the level of service I got from DJI– doesn’t stop there. I replaced the screw and unfortunately the roll axis was still jittery. I picked up the email thread and Kobe this time asked me to send a quick video of the jittering. I did that - and he suggested I send it to a service centre. In mainland Europe. But I’m in London. Do I part with my gimbal, trust it to parcel carrier? Will it actually be fixed, I wondered? And will I ever get it back? Well, I gave it a shot.Registered on the DJI site, got a UPS shipping label in seconds, took it to the shipping hub just 5 minutes away from my office and that part was over. Couple of days later, no more, got a call. To fix it was going to cost about £70 sterling, and I’d need to pay for the courier, but Kate in the Netherlands said they would ship me a new RSC2 gimbal. For all the trouble I’d been to. It arrived today. About a week after I shipped it to them.I’m blown away. I was a fan of DJI before. Now I’m a superfan. Full disclosure: I’m NOT connected financially in any with the company. If you’re on the fence about buying a DJI product you have my 100% support. Never experienced any support like this for anything, ever. Go ahead. You won’t regret it.

DJI: RSC 2 Pro Combo
There are two versions of the 'RSC 2' available on the market: Either the unit by itself or the 'Pro-Combo'; before you jump to make a purchase, I would highly recommend having a good think whether any of the extras included in the pro combo would be beneficial in the future, I say this because if you change your mind later on it will work out MORE expensive in the long term to buy the additional accessories separately. The main additional contents included with the Pro Combo is as follows:• Carry case.• Mechanical Focus wheel.• RavenEye Image Transmission System. There are also optional accessories from brands such as 'SmallRig' that might make handling the gimbal in certain situations more comfortable and easier to deal with. I purchased the 'SmallRig 3028' which is a handle extension, this helps distribute the weight so I don't get fatigued as quickly. One of my favourite features this gimbal has is the ability to fold which gives it a smaller footprint and easier to store (sometimes I store it in my photography bag and it wouldn't fit if it didn't fold!).If you have never used a gimbal like this before, the set-up process can be quite daunting. I did feel that DJI didn't provide the best tutorial to getting it set-up; I was grateful to find other users producing their own video guides online which I found clearer and easier to follow. When calibrating your camera, do remember to remove the lens cap as the slight weight difference can affect the weight distribution. Each time you change lenses or camera you will have to redo the calibration process to ensure optimal stabilization. As I always use the same camera and lens, as long as I don't change the pan/tilt/roll adjustments, I can pretty much jump straight back into shooting the next time I use it.Despite the incredible stabilization this gimbal has, there is definitely a learning curve when it comes to using. There are plenty of videos available online that will give you tips and tricks to using it in various ways. Once you get the knack of using it, you can achieve some impressive results. It may vary depending on your use, payload and what accessories you use with the gimbal, though I personally found that the battery life is very good (I'm not currently using it with other powered accessories). It is advertised as 14 hours on a full charge which is very impressive and based on my use, seems quite accurate. With the positives aside it is important to note that the battery in in-built and to my knowledge, not replaceable. This does mean you can't get spare batteries just in case you get caught off-guard or should something go wrong. This could also be seen as a bit of "planned obsolescence" on DJI's behalf which is quite disappointing.Everything aside though, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend.✔ Pros:✓ Robust construction.✓ Foldable.✓ Quite lightweight (on it's own).✓ Fantastic stabilization.✓ Great battery life.⸗ Neutral:- Official instructions/guides could be clearer.✖ Cons:✘ Battery is not replaceable.

The perfect balance between value & performance!
Easy to calibrate & operate and the quality is excellent. Portability is also great - I frequently travel with the gimbal. The DJI Ronin app helps to double-check balancing & can be used as a virtual joystick.
